Time Travelling to fix past mistakes

"The main reason she doesn't want me is because of our history. When I first kidnapped her I was young, thought I was invincible and could just take her and she'd fall for me immediately. That clearly didn't work out how I wanted. Ever since then I've just been trying to kidnap her again and again and it always fails. But what if I could do it over? Try again knowing what I know now?" Bowser says.

"My lord, you'd be able to undo your mistakes and claim her easily. " Kamek cheers.

"Tomorrow we raid the mushroom kingdom archives to find a spell that can do it." He says with a menacing grin.

Bowser cackles as he returns to his castle triumphant. Those foolish guards went to protect the Princess but she was not the target this time. He made off with most of the books in the archives. After a few days of sorting through them Kamek was able to find the spell book. After preparing the ritual for him, Bowser pierces the tip of his finger and lets a drop of his koopa blood land on the cover of the book. He sees the cover morph as a raised picture of his face appears as if it had always been there. Opening the book up he sees it has become the book of his own life. Seeing everything he has ever done written down. When he covered Isle Delfino in muck, when he tried conquering the galaxy, even his recent time as Castle Bowser in the flower kingdom, and of course he also sees the very first time he kidnapped Peach.

"Wow, it's my entire biography. So how does this work?" Bowser asks.

"Simple, just place your hand on the time page you want to go back to and say the magic words. You should feel like your falling asleep but you will in fact wake up in that time period." Kamek explains.

"Wait, won't I have to deal with past me? Cause I ain't competing with myself for her!" He growls.

"That's the best part! You aren't sending your body back but just your mind. You are going to wake up in your own body so their won't be a double of you and you'll keep all your knowledge." She finishes explaining.

Bowser smiles and looks up to a framed portrait of Princess Peach he has. "Soon my beautiful Peach, you will be mine. In fact, it will already have happened!"

Bowser places his hand on the page he wants, closes his eyes and says the words. He feels the tingle of magic go through his body as he loses consciousness.
