Time Jump

Batgirl sat in her cell. She had been here for nearly a week, with guards continuing to make comments to her about putting her with the freaks she had spent her life battling against.

All week, she'd been plotting an escape attempt. She had the perfect plan in mind. All she needed was to convince the guards to open her cell door, and she'd be able to overpower them and get out of here.

"Batgirl, stand!"

She looked towards the door, surprised by the voice. It was the doctor. Behind him was Jack Ryder, the infamous reporter for Gotham.

"I can't believe you've actually captured her!" he exclaimed.

"Believe it. And with you here, we can do more than have Batgirl captured."

Batgirl wasn't sure what he meant, but looked past him to see dozens of guards and doctors standing in the hallway, watching.

Was it time to make her daring escape attempt?

"Time to see how camera-shy you really are, Batgirl..."
