Chapter 149 by Mr Nice Guy Mr Nice Guy

What's next?

Tim’s Twelfth Trade

Despite the substantive changes to Tim Thompson over the previous weeks, at his core he was still an ordinary human being. Yes, he had seen things no human had seen before, met beings of incalculable power, but in the universal scale of things, he was still quite normal.

Now Wisdom, this immortal who has stepped into his life, usurping the order that he has created for himself, was something different. He’d met her daughters, her husband, and they had all shaken him to his core. Just the fact that there was this entire other world, hidden away behind the veil of time and space, it’s denizens using humanity as playthings, or worse, made his knees shake.

But Wisdom was different. She seemed above it all. Tim didn’t know how her powers manifested, but even without her reabsorbed daughter’s abilities, he could tell that she was one to be wary of. It would be wise to be in his best behaviour around her, and be focussed on what she was doing, so that he could get out of their encounter unscathed.

It would have helped if he hadn’t suddenly become so distractingly aroused by his sister’s presence. She was exactly the same as she had always been, tall, thin, not voluptuous like many of Tim’s girlfriends, but there was something about her that he found irresistible. Strangely, the feeling was familiar, not alien at all, as if it had always been there, just ignored.

Flashes of fantasies flitted through his imagination. Her long legs wrapped around his body as he pounded into her, his breasts resting heavily against her chest. Her lips sucking on his nipple as she played with his cock with her hands. His face, buried deep in her groin, lipstick smears being left all over her inner thighs. Tabby was an incredibly sexual creature; How Tim had ignored that fact for so long was a mystery.

“Now, let me see, how is it that Justice does this…” Wisdom looked around the room at the people who held a possibility for a trade. Unlike trades with Justice, Wisdom was taking a much more commanding role, not giving him a chance to have a say, “I believe we have what we need,” she said with a smile, giving Tim no indication as to what she was going to do.

Wisdom raised her hands and began to wave them in front of her face, swiping through options for a trade, “Ah yes. I see now. In order to change the relationship with your sister, I will have to alter not only the perception of its ethicality, but the ethics themselves.”

“You mean that all men will be able to date their sisters?” Tim questioned.

“Don’t be ridiculous,” Wisdom eyes snapped onto him, causing his stomach to turn somersaults, “I have guided the hand of creation through forethought and insight. Isolating your relationship is well within my power.”

She continued to swipe, humming as she considered options, until she grunted an approval and snapped her fingers.

“Tim Thompson,” she said, “I intend to honour the arrangement you have with Justice. And while the relationships you have with Lust and Desire are attempting to taint my judgement, to shift the scales in your favour, all things must be done with balance. This will be the first of your trades, and will give you the relationship you desire, allowing you both to avoid the peril laid before you. Do you grant me your will to move forward with the trade?”

“Yes, I consent, but…”

“Very well,” she cut him off, thrusting a smoking first forward, then waving both hands over her head, “It is done! The trade is complete.”

Tim looked down at his body to see what changes might have occurred, but could see nothing. Had it not worked? Was Wisdom not adept enough at using Justice’s power and had misfired somehow? Absentmindedly, he began to roll his tongue around in his mouth, enjoying the soothing feeling of softly sucking on something.

“Your sister is now free to pursue you, and you her,” Wisdom said with pride in her voice, “None shall raise alarms at the love that will blossom, as all will see it as natural. I would caution you against pursuing the woman in the green dress at the bar, though, as that would be perceived by others as disreputable.”

Tim looked up at the woman at the bar, a beautiful woman in her twenties, holding a lollipop in front of her face with a confused look. She dropped the candy on her coaster and brought her drink to her mouth. Tim licked his lips at the sight of the discarded treat. Maybe he would pick one up after his date with Tabby.

“That won’t be hard,” Tim said, “I don’t even know her. But what did you trade?”

“A pittance, really,” Wisdom said, “There was not much need for weight, so I took something simple. The woman had an oral fixation, something she was managing quite well. She had quit chewing her nails, and she had stopped smoking. Really, it was something she had quite under control, in fact, it made her quite popular here.”

Tim’s painted eyes went wide. Oral fixation?! Did that mean that he would want to…

“Now onto other pressing matters,” Wisdom interrupted his thought, “we have a much more important trade to do.”
