Through highschool

As the months went by, Jake and I continued to see each other - not officially dating, but hooking up whenever we could. It was a secret affair that only we knew about.

We'd meet up in hidden corners of the school or sneak off to his car after hours. Our trysts were always intense and passionate, leaving me breathless and wanting more.

But despite our physical connection, I never really felt like we were a couple. We didn't hold hands in public or go on dates like normal couples did. It was just sex - raw and primal.

Jake would often whisper sweet nothings in my ear as he thrust into me, telling me how much he loved me... But deep down, I knew it was all just an act.

I tried to convince myself that it was okay - that this was what teenagers did. But sometimes late at night when the lights were out and I lay awake thinking about our relationship... doubts crept in...

Was this really love? Or was it just lust?
