Through Sector 6

"So what's waiting for you in Sector 7?" Aerith asked Jessie. "I get the feeling it's important."

"Yeah... I got separated from my friends," Jessie explained, sighing softly. "I need to let them know I'm OK."

"Tell me about them," Aerith requested.

Jessie blushed, turning towards Aerith and giving her a brief overview of her friends in AVALANCHE. Aerith couldn't help but notice how Jessie's face lit up when she mentioned Tifa, as if she was glowing.

"This Tifa... is she your girlfriend?" Aerith asked.

"Maybe. I guess we haven't really discussed it," Jessie shrugged. "What about you? Is there anyone special in your life?"

"I don't know," Aerith admitted, smiling sweetly. "I've had friends, but I don't know if I'd really call them anything more than that."

Jessie and Aerith continued to talk for some time after that. Then out of the corner of her eye, she noticed a familiar looking woman in the back of a carriage being pulled by a chocobo -- it was Tifa, wearing a rather stunning dress. Jessie ran up to the carriage when it stopped, making her way to the side where the door was. "Tifa? What are you doing here?" she asked.

"Jessie!" Tifa beamed. "I'm so glad you're OK... still, I knew you'd be just fine."

"What's going on? Where are you going?" Jessie asked, confused.

"Wall Market. We hear Don Corneo made some kind of deal with Shinra. I'm going to go try and get some information out of him," Tifa explained.

"How?" Jessie wondered. Corneo was pretty tight-lipped, and often surrounded himself with hired help. Whatever Tifa was planning, it wasn't going to be easy.

"Corneo's looking for a new consort. That's my in," TIfa explained. "Don't worry about me -- I'll be fine. You know I can take care of myself."

"I know, but Corneo's--" Jessie was interrupted by the carriage speeding off, and she watched as it disappeared into the distance. "Damn it!"

Aerith walked up behind Jessie and spoke up. "I heard all that. I guess we're taking a detour to Wall Market, then?"
