Three

Jolyne slowly got up, like she had just awoken from a deep slumber.

"My head hurts, like I was being split into half... or thirds!?"

All three suddenly got up and covered their chests in shock when they realized there were three of them.

"Have you heard of mitosis?" Emporio tried his best to explain the situation without looking directly at their nude bodies. "The process in which a cell divides into identical versions of itself? It's like that happened but to your entire body, and it made three of you for some reason."

The three slowly approached each other, unable to tell what to think of this. They slowly raised their hands in the air, tilted their heads, lifted their legs, it was all identical between them. All three of them were truly the same person. At the end of the day it was still an enemy stand, which meant the two of them needed to be cautious, but the three felt like they could trust each other.

Wait, if there were three of them now, wouldn't that be incredibly useful?
