Vanessa started taping Alex's arm according to the drawing on the inside of the roll. While she did so, Kate walked back up to the scarab door. All three glass bugs lit up this time, and the door opened.

The next room was similar to the first, with some pillars flanking a walkway down the middle. There were several open spaces to the left and right of the pillars.

Alyssa had a look around the main room, then came back and held up six fingers.

"Twice the amount," Kurtis mused. "Quite the challenge."

Alyssa had a look around the immediate area of the room. She came back with a strange circular metal device and held it up. "Eeh ee?"

"I believe its my hood," Kate laughed. "My my, it looks rather fitting. I wonder how they ensure that?"

"Of course, darling, give it here," Kate took the hood and studied it. It was quite complex, and was going to take some time to put on. "Keep searching while I get dressed."

By now Alex and Vanessa were back. Alex now sported a mass of tape down her left arm, all the way from the shoulder down to her balled fist, which she held up. "fair warning, I am now one hand short, so perhaps don't make me do anything that requires lots of prowess with the fingers."

As she finished her comment, Kate clicked her hood shut, having worked out pretty quickly how to put it on. It was in two locking halves, and came with an attached posture collar. Kate's hair fell out a hole in the back in a ponytail. There was currently an oval shape left open in the front of the hood to allow her to see and speak. But from the attachments lining the oval, she guessed that it wouldn't remain uncovered for long.

"It's very form fitting," Kate mused. "How did they get my measurements I wonder."

"How are you meant to unlock that once you've finished?" Alex asked.

Kate shrugged. "That's a problem for later."

Kurits led the way through the room to a stand at the end with contained three canopic jars. Alyssa opened each one in turn, and produced a restraint out of two of them.

"Man, this room will be over fast at this rate," Alex groaned.

"What else is there?" Vanessa asked.

"So two of us just need to go in there and activate the plates in order?" Alex asked. "Easy."

"I i?" Alyssa asked.

"The pretty one is right," Kate noted. "There will be a catch."

Vanessa walked up to the door and opened it. She then laughed. "Yup. Of course."

She returned from the alcove between the two rooms holding a blindfold and some strips of tape. "This one's leather. Looks like you're up Kurtis."

"And the...tape?" Alex gulped.

"Yup. That's for you. Look, its even been labelled." Vanessa handed her the strips of tape. Two of them were plus shaped, and had 'eye' written in tape on the sticky side. The other piece was a plain strip with 'mouth' written on it.

Kate was already buckling her husband's blindfold.

"Do I have to?" Alex asked.

"You're taking up time, darling," Kate pushed. "That is your favourite restraint, right?"

That was true. Alex was just unsure whether she wanted to give up control of her sight.

Vanessa sidled up to Alex. "Look, I'll help you out when you're done with this room, okay? I'll lead you around the room. And besides, think about how hot you'll look."

Alex and Kurtis both nodded, then entered the tiny transition room between the two rooms. Once both of them were in, the first door locked and the door to the pressure plates unlocked. Alex felt around for the handle, and then she and Kurtis began the challenge.
