Thoughtful Sleep

Zoey, Itzel, Lilith, and Faranne took Finn home, while they gave him pats on the back, or the occasional hug, to make him feel better. And while Finn was glad to have his friends support him, he still couldn't stop thinking about the idea of becoming a hero, specially because his catgirl friend decided to ask about it.

"What are you going to do Finn?" - Lilith asked innocently, as she is always unaware of people's feelings, but was clearly just worried about her friend. And even though Finn wasn't upset at Lilith for asking that question, he didn't feel like answering, since he still didn't have an answer.

"Please Lilith, leave him alone... He can't think straight right now, he needs time, right Finn?" - Faranne asked softly, as she tried being as caring as possible for Finn, which meant preventing her sister from annoying him. And after Lilith realized her mistake, she and Faranne saw how Finn kept looking troubled.

"Yes, it's okay, don't worry... We'll deal with those monster girls later, but don't try to think too much about it, just go rest a bit..." - Faranne reassured Finn, with a warm hug, and a sweet smile to make him happy, although he didn't show any response. But as they were all now far away from the monster girls, Faranne thought they weren't at danger anymore, and they could return to the village, and relax at their houses tonight, since tomorrow they would have to worry about their problems.

"Zoey? Can you take Finn to his house? I also need to do a bit of thinking... I don't know how those monster girls got into this island, but hopefully they are telling the truth and will not attack us..." - Faranne turned her attention to Zoey, who seemed just as worried as Lilith, but not as confident to hug Finn like Faranne. But now that she had the chance to take care of his boyfriend, Zoey didn't hesitate to take that responsibility, and after nodding to Faranne's request, they all split to go to their respective houses. And while Itzel and Lilith were going to do different things, Zoey was only going to focus on seeing if Finn was doing alright, and if not, then she was going to make sure he was doing okay.

"Alright... hey Finn, how are you feeling??" - Zoey asked, with a bit of a nervous, but friendly smile, as she tried cheering up her boyfriend. But as they walked together to the village, Finn couldn't help but think more about Haze's idea, although now he had Zoey at his side, so he felt a bit more relaxed.

"What is happening??" - Finn muttered to himself, as he hoped his girlfriend would notice his confusion, and maybe give him the answers he couldn't find. But while Zoey did think Finn wasn't doing alright, and was being tormented by his own thoughts, she tried to take it lightly, and joke around for a bit, to see if that would cheer him up.

"I know, this is crazy... I also couldn't believe it when I heard it from that dragon girl, but I do think the Elven Kingdom needs you to fight for them, how cool is that?" - Zoey asked playfully, but not completely sure if that would make Finn happy, or at least not worry too much. Although Zoey started regretting her decision almost immediately, instead of coming off as insensitive, she actually made Finn feel a little more comfortable, since he started chuckling, and acting a bit more hopeful.

"I guess, I mean, yes... it is very exciting to be an official hero, fight all types of monsters with other warriors, run into big epic fights, and just prove myself to the gods... But I'm not sure if I want all of that right now, it feels like I should at least know what exactly I have to do first, and even then it would be hard for me to make a decision..." - Finn replied, in a lighthearted, but very thoughtful manner, as he needed to express his concerns, or insecurities of becoming a hero for his world. And since Zoey noticed her boyfriend wasn't too sure of himself, she tried reassuring him he was going to be okay, but also joked a little more to not sound too awkward.

"Yes, it is a very tough choice... But that's why you have to rest now, you can worry about it later, don't pressure yourself... You'll know what you want if you think long enough about it, I know you will make the right choice when the time comes... and then you are going to be a great hero..." - Zoey said with a cheerful smile, that Finn found endearing, and even made him smile a bit, since he knew his girlfriend understood him, and knew what would be for him.

"Thanks Zoey... I'll just have to wait and see, right?" - Finn replied, with a playful, but still insecure tone, that was pleasantly received by a heartwarming smile from his girlfriend. And while Finn still didn't know what he was going to do, he at least felt safe, since he saw that his friends, and Zoey were supporting him, and would be there for him when he needed them the most. And even if that still wasn't clear to him, Zoey made sure to let him know he was correct, with a tight, affectionate hug, now that they had reached Finn's house.

"Exactly... I love you Finn, but now go home, sleep a bit, or maybe see if you can relax with Adeline" - Zoey replied with a giggle, and a mix of a sweet, cordial, and even flirtatious smile, that made Finn a bit shy. But before he could say anything about the sex joke Zoey made, Finn was caught off guard by a kiss from her, that made him blush, but feel more loved than ever, specially in these concerning times.

"Alright, bye Zoey, we'll talk soon..." - Finn said nervously to his girlfriend, after she started grinning from ear to ear, since she got the kiss she wanted, and made Finn feel better. But now that he was right outside his house, and because Zoey couldn't have some fun with him, the young lovers said goodbye to each other, and prepared for tomorrow, by going to sleep in their respectives houses.

Even though Finn didn't get much time with his girlfriend, he wasn't too upset about not doing anything fun with Zoey, and even felt happy to see that she made his worries go away. But after he smiled at her, and she walked away to go home, Finn was left alone at his house, and when he entered through the door, he found that the only one there for him now was his roommate. Adeline had spent most of the day in Finn's house, and didn't even do the bed, since she slept for hours, and even was sitting in his bed when Finn arrived. But as soon as the android girl saw him walk in his house, she wanted to know how he was doing.

"Hey Finn, I heard a bit of commotion outside, is everything okay?" - Adeline asked, with a slightly less cheerful voice than usual, since she was quite worried that something happened to Finn, since he looked a bit tired. But even though he knew Adeline was only caring about him like a good friend would, Finn thought it wouldn't be a good idea to explain to her the situation. And since he wanted to forget about it for a while, Finn chose not to tell Adeline about the monster girls, and hope they could just have a relaxing sleep like last night.

"Yea, I mean, no... a lot has happened, but I don't want to think about it right now... Tomorrow we are probably going to talk all about it at breakfast, so if you have any questions just wait for that..." - Finn replied unenthusiastically, which made Adeline surprised, and a little worried about him. But while she was very curious to hear what had happened, Adeline understood why Finn wouldn't like to talk about it, so she didn't try to push it.

"Oh, I see... it seems important, but sure, just come sleep with me, and let all of your worries go away..." - Adeline said with a sweet, and alluring smile, as she stretched her arms out for Finn, to offer him another great night of sleep, that he of course wouldn't turn down. And without the need of saying a word, Finn just walked to his android friend at the bed, let her hug him, and pull him into the bed, where they quickly snuggled together, and prepared to sleep.

"You like to cuddle with me, don't you?... I find it very cute that you just want to hug me, instead of doing all those sexual things I thought you would like to do with me... and that I definitely would love to do with you..." - Adeline whispered to Finn, with a bit of an amorous, but mostly comforting voice, as she hugged him under the sheets. Finn thought her question was funny, but after letting out a chuckle, he didn't do anything, except let the android girl cuddle with him, and even spoon him, to make sure he gets a nice sleep.

"Okay... goodnight Adeline, but can you like make me sleep for 8 straight hours? I really don't want to have any dreams, or think about anything tonight..." - Finn asked playfully, as he believed Adeline had the power for him to completely relax, and that she may become his second girlfriend at one point. But while the android girl found Finn's question cute, she was in love with the idea of him depending of her to have a good sleep, and since she didn't have a problem with that, Adeline accepted her purpose of being the perfect body pillow, and granted Finn his wish.

"I don't have a feature to do that, if that's what you are asking... But I do think I can make sure you have a nice sleep, so goodnight Finn... sleep tight..." - Adeline replied, with a soft, soothing, heartwarming tone, that almost made Finn fall asleep instantly. And as he felt his eyes getting tired, Finn received a nice kiss on the forehead from Adeline, and they both relaxed, to spend yet another night sleeping together...
