Is there any body left that serves Condiment wizard still reacting?
Those far away
Zartanna was currently in the library in the catacombs of a once-powerful necromancer. He'd lived not too long ago; to be exact, it was five minutes ago. He had been happy with the results of an undead experiment ten minutes ago, then Zartanna showed up and, after working through his undead defenders for four minutes, proceeded to smear him all over his throne.
So it was that she was currently looking through every grimoire he had. Well, what was left of the necromancer dripped in little pieces from the throne he had commanded his undead from for centuries. "Worthless, maybe; useful, worthless." Zartanna shouted out, deciding the value of each time by reading the title and skimming through the contents really quickly.
After a couple of hours of looking through every book he had, she gave a disappointed sigh at the small stack of books that were in the maybe and useful piles. "Of course the bone mage of Carthage would have next to nothing useful." Zartanna said in frustration before signing to herself and speaking again. "How am I to serve master by creating great gifts if this is all I have to work with?" Zartanna ashed herself before beginning to walk out of the room.
In her first few steps she spoke the words. "Sselhtrow semot nrub." She said quickly, and all the time in the worthless pile burned. She then spoke again as she was passing the midway point of the chamber. " Semot ym em retfa taolf." She said, and those times were useful, and maybe piles floated after her as she left the chamber. She fast-walked out of the catacomb, taking shortcuts till she was past the entrance and out into the sun once more.
She took a breath, enjoying the sunny day, when it hit her: the feeling of her master dying. She stood there not moving a muscle, then she began casting spell after spell, checking herself for any hint of outside control and found none. She then, with hellfire in her eyes, swears a vow. "Master will walk again no matter what. If I have to torture and destroy angels as well as demons, so be it." Zartanna said her voice having a deadly finality to it, and then she disappeared through a portal to places unknown.
Diana Turner, one of three remaining members of the short-lived fishman army, was currently waiting in a cave at the bottom of the ocean with one of the other members of the fishman army. Jéssica Hobbs, who was taller and more scary-looking than her. The whole scary being thing was helped by the fact she was practicing fighting by breaking rock with her bare hands.
So with the sound of rocks being punched into dust within their small cave. Diana looked around at the few baby sharks swimming around them, trying her best to keep an eye on them. They were her children, which is why they were in the cave with them; it was altogether a very strange situation for her. As she had been a high-class escort in her old life.
So she'd done everything she could to avoid getting pregnant, as it would have made her job harder. Now, though, she had to be pregnant, as that was what made her useful to Jaster. As her children were strangely loyal to her despite their cannibalistic nature towards each other. So she had to use her people's talent to watch over them, especially to make sure they didn't hunt each other.
It was a strange task, though in fairness it was a strange situation all around, as they had discovered that both she and Jéssica could have shark babies, a strange quirk they figured that both of them had due to their new female shark biology and the life-giving nature of the magic that brought them back. Though the reason that Jéssica wasn't also giving birth was that she was more useful in a fight. So Diana had gotten stuck with the task of raising a regular Sharon army.
Out of nowhere the two felt the death of the condiment wizard and the shark hoard. Feeling their mother's rage and anguish, they turned on each other. Meanwhile, Jéssica went on a rampage, swinging her fist at the walls again and again, leaving holes in the face walls. Out of nowhere a voice shouted out through the underwater cave. "Enough!" The two women stopped the bloodshed and the trail of destruction.
The two women turned on Kgbeast, who had just entered the underwater cave. The two women looked at him, crying faces visible to see. "You stupid women," Kgbeast said aloud, causing crying faces to turn into angry ones. "He can come back, you fools; we can simply bring him back as he did us. "Kgbeast said clearly, stopping the two women on their tracks.
The two of them looked ashamed at having forgotten that simple fact. "No, the true problem is not Master's death but those who could prevent his return," Kgbeast beast. They walked over to a part of the cave with a trident symbol drawn into it. "We need to deal with the blond if we want to be sure he does not use his power over the sea to interfere with Condiment Wizard's rebirth as one of us," Kgbeast said.
The two shark women looked at each other, then nodded with determination, getting back to their task. Kgbeast continued to stare at the symbol. "We will get you king of the sea," Kgbeast whispered, then pinched his claws together in a dark promise of the blood to come.
So what's Condiment wizard up too?
