What's next?
Third read-through with Jared, continued
Katie took a moment to find the scene in her mind. Then she turned to Jared. "Kyle. I haven't seen you since we were teenagers." She took his hands, and pulled him close to her. His hands left hers, and naturally went to her waist. "I've grown up so much since then." She leaned up to him, pressing her chest to him.
Jared went dry. "But I've thought about you, Laura."
Katie pulled away, pushing Jared's chest. "You've thought about me?" She flirted with him, almost teasing him. "What have you thought about me?"
"I've thought about your eyes."
"My ... eyes?" Katie batted her eyelashes at him.
"I've thought about your voice."
"My ... voice?"
"I've thought about the last time I heard you say goodbye to me."
Greg interrupted again. "It's not playing. I don't think these are literal things. When he says he thought about you, what's he really saying?"
Katie knew the answer. "He's thinking about me now. He's thinking about me intimately."
Greg nodded. "Of course. Jared, can you play that? Go back to 'I've thought about your eyes,' but it's not actually about her eyes."
"What's it about?" Jared asked, a little confused.
Katie looked at him. "Just watch me, and think about me."
Jared took the moment back. He gazed at Katie. "I've thought about your eyes."
Katie touched her own face, her hands lingering on her cheek. One hand drifted down, and touched the linen shirt. "My ... eyes?" -- but the way she said it, it was as if she had said, my body.
"I've thought about your voice."
Katie took a step closer to Jared, this time pulling the bottom of her shirt down, tightening it against her body. "My ... voice?" She stepped up to him, her face barely an inch from his.
"I've thought about the last time I heard you say goodbye to me." Katie stared at him, silent. Jared looked at her. Their lips were practically touching, a kiss between them all but inevitable.
After about ten seconds, Greg spoke. "Who has the next line?"
