Things quickly go South!

(Side note, while I'm not going to spoil the results of the fight, I will state that the group will put up a significantly better one than in canon, for multiple reasons. One, Issei and the Peerage are a decent bit stronger than they had been at this point, due to the extended training they had received while preparing for Riser. Second, the increased numbers. Raynare, Sona's Peerage, and Irina, the last of whom hadn't been taken out early. And third, they're fighting at the hideout of the enemy, not at the school, so... Enemy territory, and the promotion of the Pawns into Queens. That, and Issei's ability to transfer the sealed Pawn pieces he has. So the gap in power is at least a little smaller.)

As the Power of Destruction raced towards Kokabiel, he scoffed and extended a hand towards it, catching it, before flinging it up through the roof. Issei and Rias stared in disbelief. "He... Knocked away that much power... With just a hand?" Issei stared in shock.

"Heh, with the Red Dragon's aid, you could conjure a pretty decent amount of power, but still not enough to harm me," Kokabiel sneered, before he paused as he felt a faint throb in his hand. He looked at it, before clenching his teeth. They were faint, and only first degree, but there were indeed some burns on his hand. It was only a little bit of damage, but damage nonetheless. "...tch, I underestimated you..." he grimaced.

He then raised his other hand, and almost immediately, a large amount of Holy Light formed. Sona's eyes widened, and she turned to everyone. "Move!" she shouted, and they scattered.

"...I'll pick you off, a few at a time!" Kokabiel cackled, shooting the massive burst of Light at Momo, Reya, and Tsubasa, who wouldn't be able to get out of the way of the massive blast in time. Tsubasa, being the Rook, immediately moved to use herself as a meat shield, while Momo and Reya used their magic to form a hasty barrier. The blast struck the barrier, which only held briefly, before shattering, and the blast overwhelmed the three as they screamed in pain. The beam went through the wall of the abandoned church, and kept going a good distance, luckily through an unpopulated area of town, before dying off.

"Momo! Reya! Tsubasa!" Sona shouted in fear for her Peerage members as the smoke cleared. They were laying in the trench caused by the beam, naked, and horribly burned, but still alive.

"Asia! Go heal them immediately! Make sure they don't die!" Rias shouted frantically as Raynare, taking advantage of the chaos, immediately flew right for Kokabiel from the side, aiming to stab him in the neck with a Light Javelin. Kokabiel raised his hand up to catch it, stopping it inches from his throat casually. He grunted, and realized it took more effort than it should from someone who only had one pair of wings. The power of the attempted surprise attack was equal to at least a four winged Fallen!

In hindsight, it was fortunate for him that he had been burned a bit by Rias's attack. It made him more cautious. Had he tried to stop Raynare's attack with a couple fingers instead, that could have ended poorly for him. He grabbed her by the face, and threw her down into the floor of the Church, cratering it, and making her cry out and **** up blood.

"Oi! Old man! Is the sword ready yet!?" Freed demanded, crossing his arms and tapping his foot impatiently.

"Be patient. There are a couple of minutes to go," Valper replied as Saji took advantage of the distraction Raynare had briefly provided to extend his cord at Kokabiel, wrapping his arm in it, and starting to drain some power from him.

"Tsk," Kokabiel grunted, grabbing the cord as he sneered at Saji. "Such an amateurish mistake. Don't you know? Tying yourself to someone who outclasses you is NOT a good idea!" He then yanked Saji right towards him, making the Pawn yelp in fear, and fly right towards Kokabiel, who prepared a Javelin to impale him.

Akeno acted quickly, getting a Boost from Issei, and having Sona send a water hawk at Kokabiel. The Fallen was splashed when he stabbed the water construct before it could sink its talons into him, and Akeno struck with lightning. Instead of aiming for Kokabiel though, and just being blocked, she aimed for the cord of Saji's gear as he was halfway to getting stabbed. The current traveled up said cord, and blasted both Saji, and the drenched Grigori with voltage. Saji passed out, and his Gear was dismissed, letting him fall to the floor. Kokabiel hissed in minor annoyance from the shock.

Akeno grimaced at having had to hit Saji, but it was better that than being fatally impaled. "You all are starting to annoy me," Kokabiel grunted, before smirking and conjuring three large three headed black dogs. "Meet some beasts from the depths of Hell! My pets, Cerberus!"

"Oh shit!" Issei yelped as he backed up. "Um... Nice doggies!" he said nervously as the beasts charged the group.
