As Ruby went back to her position, she received a lot of attention from people, some of whom asked about the mask, but Ruby was able to pretend she hadn't heard them most of the time, and after a little while, people seemed to care less about the fact that the arguably least interesting part of their waitress was covered up now.
Of course things couldn't stay this way forever, as eventually, doing her rounds, Ruby had to pass by her Dad and Uncle Qrow's table.
"Hey, HEEEEY, Cutie! Is it true that you let anyone who wants to cop a feel?"
Her father's voice arced out and felt like it pierced her through the heart as she heard it. Knowing that she had **** if she wanted to keep her cover, she walked over and faked a smile, even though it wouldn't really be seen under the surgical mask she was wearing.

Feeling like she had a ball of lead in her stomach, Ruby marched toward her inevitable DOOM!
