Things Are In Motion

Senator Organa rubbed the bottom of his chin slowly, "If we are to do this, Markus, then we must move quickly, making a strike such of this will put our rebellion on the empires map as a declaration of war. We will be hunted, our families will pay the price if we fail,"

"My family already paid the price," Markus retorted while looking around to the others, "This Empire...this dark lord of the sith...it must end, as long as they are in control none of us are safe. None will experience peace and freedom in the galaxy."

"He's right," A voice pipped up from the far side of the table. Looking over Markus was slightly surprised to see senator Riyo Chuchi from Pantora staring directly back at him. Her golden eyes seemed to share his spirit and admittedly Markus had a hard time ignoring the blue skinned woman's beauty. "We lost the ability to solve things diplomatically when the republic fell, if there is any chance to return the galaxy to what it once was, we must fight for it,"

"Agreed," Organa nodded in agreement, "Markus I will gather our forces here, they will join you on your mission to Bracca. The rest of you, say your goodbyes to your families, then spread the word to your trusted that any men or women loyal to the republic and this rebellion to read themselves, once Markus returns from Bracca we must join him on the fleet and move out."

The room let our murmurs of agreement as well as some low doubts on the plan or even the rebellion. "Markus, you'll need transport to Bracca, I have a ship capable to transport you and the men you'll need," Riyo said while approaching the Jedi,

"Thank you senator," Markus replied with a respectful nod,

"I'm not a senator anymore," Riyo replied with a frown, "I'm simply a woman fighting for the freedom of my people,"

"I remember hearing the stories of you in the clone wars," Markus stated, "You acted bravely then and you continue to now, a true leader to be followed, we are lucky to have you here,"

"Thank you Master Jedi," Riyo smiled back,

"Uh, not a master...a knight," Markus corrected while rubbing the back of his neck,

"Oh, well regardless, I've seen Jedi in battle and I know their honor, we are the lucky ones," Riyo continued, "I must take your leave now to prepare, I'll meet you down by the dockyard in a few hours,"

"Meet me?" Markus asked,

"Of course, I'm going with you," Riyo smiled while glancing back to Markus.

Markus was surprised that the senator was joining him on such a mission but he knew better then to argue. The woman was known to be firm in her thoughts, and he was in no position to reject help of any kind. Hours later Markus met with Riyo along with a crew of one hundred men, loading up on Riyo Pantora's transport they group took off, jumping into hyperspace heading right to Bracca.

"Master Jedi," Riyo asked with a slight smirk on her face as you almost began to correct her a second time on the title,

"Yes senator?" He asked back while crossing his arms,

"As you said, Bracca is a scrapyard, most of these ships will already be junked and only a few will be operational when we arrive before they are started to be scrapped. So we'll have to move fast, what ship should we be looking for when we approach?" Riyo asked with a curious raise of her brow.
