They want her to go out with them

"I think you know," Emma says a bit sheepishly. Kelsey and Hannah look a bit nervous and start looking at their feet. Based on their reaction, Terri is quickly able to deduce what they want and has on a sour look on her face.

"No. No," Terri spats out. " I told you girls I am not going."

"Oh, Come on, Terri! Who knows how many more Halloweens we get to spend together. Please. It will be fun. We even got you a costume," Emma implores while waving a bag that probably contains the costume.

"No. Last time I went out on Halloween, my dress got wet, and people saw my boobs. It was humiliating," Terri replies bitterly. Just thinking of the incident made her feel a bit teary eyed.

"That was a freak accident. Plus, it happened a while ago. No one probably remembers. And this costume we got you won't let that happen again," Hannah says, though something in her tone said that she didn't fully believe that people had forgotten what happened.

"Please, Terri. Please," Kelsey pouts in a way that softs Terri's heart a bit. " You don't have to wear a costume. You can wear whatever you want. We just want you to come. Please come."
