They talk

"You know, Julia, if you're interested in him, you should go for it," Valentina says, noticing Julia's lingering glances towards the bar.

"I don't know, Val," Julia says hesitantly. "He seems really big, and I'm not sure I can keep up with that. Plus I have a husband, and what if someone I knows sees us together, while he is a loser he provides so I don't want to fuck it up"

Valentina smiles reassuringly. "Don't sell yourself short, Julia. I have seen you take bigger guys before, plus don't worry about that loser you should be thinking of yourself and not him." she says.

Julia considers Valentina's words and realizes she's right. She shouldn't let her own insecurities hold her back from potentially getting to know someone new.

"Thanks, Val," Julia says, smiling at her friend. "I think you're right. Maybe I'll give it a shot."

Valentina grins. "That's the spirit! You never know where things could lead."

As they finish their lunch and pay the bill, Julia feels a newfound confidence and energy. She may not know what will happen with Jerome, but she's excited to find out.
