They take the bait, and quite literally so!

It was obvious that the elven dancing was paying off by now, as all three of the cave toads were starting to move again while oogling the pretty bait and hungrilly licking their lips. Too bad, though, that even the mage's own companions were much too occupied admiring her movements to prepare for the trap to spring...

All of a sudden, while Dew was really starting to get into her daring dancing moves, one of the cave toads finally lunged at her and closed the distance between them in a single impressive leap. The resulting squeal, that erupted from the young mage's lovely lips as the creature snared her with it's tongue was just barely enough to make her companions wake up from their stupour, and for half a moment they remained stunned in surprise by the sudden attack.

And that was all the creature needed for succesfully snatching the squirming bait away from the deadly trap, it's poisonous barbs already ejecting their load into the victim as they returned to the others, and rendering her helpless to fend for herself. Within another couple of minutes the venom would take it's full effect on her, likely turning the innocent elf into a sex machine for the cave toadss taking.

"By the godess!" Cecilia gasped as she was about to rush out around the bend, but was held back by her friend who gestured that another of the creatures could very well be on it's way already. Instead they cautiously peeked out around the corner, finding all three of the cave toads leering back at them from a safe distance while moving in on the terriefied fresh catch that had been dropped to the floor in their midst. Behind them, their last victim eventually slumped down into the wide puddle of cave toad semen, much too exhausted to even keep begging her captors for another round.

Will poor Dew end up just the same as the last one, or is there still any hope of freeing her from those devilish creatures and their rampant poison?
