Eve grabs her sister by the wrist and pulls her into the labyrinth. She heads into the lowest elevation and turns around the first corner, instantly getting out of Erin’s line of sight.
Erin grins and starts following them. “You can run but you cannot hiiiiide.” Erin says while singing the last word.
While a labyrinth like this may be good for prey to get lost in, all the twists and turns are also good for the hunter to lose her prey. The worst thing is that now she can’t follow the milk trail Ai left behind any more. All the crawling she did in Erin’s room caused a lot of the milk on Ai’s arms to be smeared all over the floor. Erin is just going to have to find them the old fashioned way.
Eve and Ai run as fast as they can. Eve has a good sense of direction and can tell whether they are heading towards the other end of the room, or turning back. The problem is all the dead ends. They make a left turn and have to decide between taking the first right or the second right. Eve takes the first right and it’s a dead end. They turn back and take the second right. When they reach a part that would bring them to a higher elevation Ai pulls her sister back.
“Don’t, we’ll be exposed there. All she’ll have to do is look up and she’ll know where we are.” Ai explains.
Eve confides in her sister and they take a different turn.
While Erin started walking through the labyrinth, not finding them after ten minutes starts to get to her. Where could these bitches be hiding? It is not possible for them to be on the other side already. They need to be somewhere in here. Erin decides to get to the highest elevation of the labyrinth and search for them from there. When she finally gets there she looks and looks but can’t find them.
“This is getting ridiculous.” Erin says to herself.
“You can’t escape me!” Erin yells. “You are only avoiding the inevitable! I will breed you!!!”
After an exhausting trip Ai and Eve reach what appears to be the exit. Eve’s internal compass confirms they are indeed on the other side of the room. Ai holds her back for a moment. Entering the exit will expose them. If Erin is looking at that exact moment, they’ll be found out.
Ai puts her back to the wall and peeks around the corner. As she looks into the labyrinth she can’t see Erin anywhere.
Suddenly Ai hears Erin yell, “I WILL FIND YOU!!!” in anger and frustration. While she does Ai can see some tentacles jump up from behind a wall in the higher elevations. If that is where Erin is, there is a wall between her and them, making it impossible for her to see them.
Ai gives her sister a sign and the two of them quietly run into the exit. They are off to the next stage while Erin continues searching for them in the labyrinth.
"Oh, screw this." Erin says as she starts singing a melody as loud as she can.
