“Well, looks to me like Scylla was too afraid to do battle with Kirie.” Eve says.
“Yeah, what a dirty trick to incapacitate her like that.” Ai agrees.
“Very well then, Sherry. We accept Scylla forfeiting to Kirie.” Eve says.
Sherry cocks her head in confusion and says, “Wait … what?”
“We agreed to be taken by the strongest.” Ai explains. “Kirie was willing to prove herself, Scylla took the coward’s way out. That means Kirie is the strongest by default.”
“We’ll just wait here until she defrosts.” Eve continues. “Then we’ll let Kirie fuck us while you and Scylla get to watch.”
A rumble can be heard from underneath the ground, followed by Sherry laughing.
"...Listen, girls, Scylla doesn't care about pride. The Matriarchs may have their dick measuring contests, but Scylla really doesn't care about that. She's just here because she wants a family, a nice, loving family. And she's offering you two an invitation. As for Kirie? Eve an Ai are stunned. They didn't expect the sudden burst of anger from Sherry.
"...Or, you can be part of a nice loving family that will treat you with respect. It's your call." Sherry says with a calm tone.
"Scylla may not have pride." Eve says, "But we do."
"Our genes are strong and capable." Ai continues. "Why on earth should we breed with weak inferior genes. We don't want our children tin inherit Scylla's cowardice."
"Also, didn't you just say you didn't want us to think you'd use it on us?" Yet now you're saying you're perfectly fine to freeze us along with Kirie." Eve follows her sister's accusation. "You and Scylla are not just cowards. You're also liars."
Sherry comes closer to Eve and says, "I'm sorry, i didn't mean it like that. I meant I didn't want to freeze you to take advantage of you...only that if you wanted to throw your lot in with Kirie, then I'd be willing to help you on that path."
Eve and Ai both raise their weapons and threaten to use them on Sherry.
"Stay away from us." Eve says, "You won't freeze us like you did Kirie."
"One more step and we'll cut you open." Ai threatens Sherry.
From underneath the frozen lake comes another roar. More angry now. Sherry looks at the lake, then at the sisters, then Kirie. She's really put herself in a bad position now.
Sherry backs off.
"...Scylla sorry I couldn't control my temper."
There's a slight rumble from the lake.
"...I'll make it up to you later, you know. That thing you like?"
A very loud rumble from the lake.
"Deal."
Eve an Ai look at each other, wondering what the hell just happened.
"Scylla's willing to take you two and your magnificent genes on now. If you want the previous offer, your gonna have to ask for it." Sherry says "Because Scylla may not be prideful...but she's not forgiving of strangers, and not fond of insults either. So what's it going to be girls?"
Eve nods at Sherry and says, "Deal, you can let Scylla know she can come out of the lake now and fight us here on the beach."
Sherry shakes her head. "No, you will fight her on the lake."
"Ow come on. You're telling me she can't defeat us unless we face her where she's at her most powerful?" Ai insults Scylla again.
Eve pokes her sister with her elbow and says, "Good thing we're not the kind of people who can only win when we're on our own turf."
Ai rolls her eyes and says, "Please, if we were like that we'd never have made it here. Scylla refusing to leave her lake is just more proof that we should be making a family with Kirie, not her."
"And like I said, if you want to make a family with Kirie, you can be my guest. The Matriarchs respect power anyways, so if your so great go ahead. But Scylla's not coming onto the land just to sate her own pride."
