It si the end of trouble for poor pair?
They made it to the inn, but the trouble wasn’t over.
Mira and Lex breathed a relieved sigh as they spotted the inn, thinking their troubles might finally end.
‘This is it, we finally made it,’ Mira said and tried to get her hair out of her face. ‘There’s not that many people around, let’s just make a run for it.’
Lex looked at her and pointed to her bound arms.
‘It’ll be fine, I can do it… I have to,’ Mira nodded, ‘Just to spite that damn fairy.’
Seeing that she was determined, Lex nodded and readied himself to start running.
Giving a nod to each other, Mira and Lex started to run as fast as they could, the bells on their necks chiming loudly as they ran towards the inn.
Outside, a dwarf and a human were drinking from a big tankard, enjoying the cool evening air. Suddenly, two dark figures rushed past them and up the stairs to the rooms.
‘Didsh you shee dat? Twash an angel in dshe buff wish ’er handsh tied on ’er back, beaushiful,’ the dwarf burped, complete hammered.
‘You hadsh far too much ale, buddy. An angel… shilly dwarf.’ the human said, not any less drunk.
Having made it to the inn, Mira and Lex were looking or a open window or door to get inside/
‘Damn it, one must be open,’ Mira cursed under her breath.
Lex spotted an open window as they crept along the windows to the rooms, he pointed at it.
‘Thank the Gods,’ Mira said, but then realised she couldn’t get in alone with her hands tied. ‘Lex… you need to help me get in.
The half-elf looked at her in confusion.
‘I can’t use my hands,’ Mira said, her cheeks glowing red at the embarrassing request.
Lex got her meaning and nodded, a bit amused by Mira’s predicament. He inched closer to the window and opened it further, it was dark inside and looked empty. Lex quickly got inside the room and waved to Mira to come to him.
Lex wasted no time to pull her inside, when she came to the window and he tried his best to get her inside safely, but the half-elf lost his grip and Mira fell to the floor, with a loud crack, landing on her back.
Mira groaned, ‘Arrgh, God damn it, you idiot. How could you drop me?’
The fairy giggled at the last humiliation for the human girl. She grew bored of the two now, letting them off the hook. Casting her magic, she returned their clothes and equipment and removed their bindings.
‘I didn’t mean to, sorry,’ Lex said, realising his voice was back, ‘Oh, the spell wore off! We are saved!’
A moment later, their clothes and equipment materialised from thin air, clanking on the ground around them.
Before he could grab anything, a strong hand grabbed Lex’s butt and an arm went around his neck, holding him tightly. From the strength, he figured it was a man. A deep voice came to his ear, ‘Oh, I wouldn’t say saved, lover-boy. You just broke into the wrong room.’
Mira’s bindings had vanished and she quickly grabbed her shirt to cover herself. The warrior sprung to her feet and called to the stanger, ‘Who are you? Let him go.’ As her eyes adjusted to the dark room, she saw that the person groping Lex was a, in fact, very tall woman, towering over Lex, and sporting big muscles. Tusks grew from her mouth, she was without a doubt a half-orc. On the bed, she spotted a red-haired girl, strapped to the bed and gagged, ‘K—Khala?! What’s going on here?’
The half-orc woman bellowed loudly, ‘Ha! You are friends with the little half-elf? Oh, this should be fun.’ She looked at Mira with a predatory glare.
What did the half-orc have in store for them? And how did Khala get in this situation?
