They laugh at her

"A padded bra, and Spanx." Dennis confirmed.

"So you're telling me, the hottest girl in school wore a padded bra and Spanx?" Evan asked.

Then, after a pause, him and all Dennis's other friends burst out laughing.

"Shut up!" Lauren pouted, blushing.

She did NOT want this to get spread around!

"I'm sorry but... look at you!" Evan laughed. "This is amazing! The stuffiest, most full of herself girl at school, was all padding and shape wear!"

"So, what's she doing here?" One of the boys asked as the laughter died down.

"She's staying over." Dennis said with a smug grin.

"Staying over... like overnight!" Evan grinned. "So... like a date?"

"No!" Lauren yelped, cringing at the idea of actually dating Dennis!"

"You could call it that." Dennis smirked with a shrug.
