They cried

The two Scarlet Witches looked at each other in shock. No one should know about this cottage, no one should know she was here. This was a place for her to relax, away from the other heroes that would judge her, and somehow she wasn't alone in this sanctuary. And it was invaded by someone who pretended to be her.

"HOW DARE YOU!" Wanda floated into the air, hands and eyes glowing with red chaos magic. Her double seemed to completely mirror her, even speaking at the same time as her, which only enraged her more.

"YOU PURPOSELY SEEK ME OUT AND THEN MOCK ME WITH SUCH A FORM!?" Again the two spoke at the exact same form, only enraging them more. The items in the room started to float in the air as chaos magic started to leak from their pores.

"WHY!? WHY!? WHY!?" The two stopped releasing magic, falling to their knees as everything that was once floating fell to the ground. Wanda swelled with emotion, unable to hold it all in as she cried harder than she had before. "Why can't you just leave me alone!?"

Wanda had seen her family and loved ones die and get tortured over and over again, she's seen people she once regarded as allies turn on her, and even when she tried to use her powers to make a world where everyone would be happy, all of the other heroes were still upset with her. So to see that they'd go this far to humiliate her, it just broke her.

Her eyes hurt from the intense tears she sprayed, and she looked over and could just barely make out her double doing the same. Somehow she could tell that maybe this doppelganger wasn't trying to humiliate her, and maybe she went through struggles just like hers.

The two slowly crawled towards each other, embracing each other in a warm hug. They weren't so different after all.
