They can, but the MEKA is totally shut off.

It was a difficult task for the rest of the BB Brigade to push the MEKA the rest of the way, especially now with the naked Lynn inside. The only good news for Lynn was that since she wasn't driving it, she was free to use her arms to cover her breasts. All she could do was wait for the MEKA to slowly reach it's destination.

They passed by several signs, explaining strict rules against photography. Lynn looked around, and saw flustered girls running about with tears in their cosplays. Some of them were trying to hold their costumes together. At last, they were at the cosplay repair room.

"Okay," Joy started, as she and the other girls gathered around Lynn so she could see them. "We can recharge the MEKA, all we need is an outlet. As for your costume, which compartment is in it?"

"It's on the right," Lynn said, glancing around seeing other barely dressed cosplayers running for privacy booths. One of them was wearing Princess Leia's slave outfit. Well, half of it anyway. It seemed the bottom half had fallen apart, and she was instead wrapping a towel around her waist.

"Do they have more towels like what she has?" Lynn asked, with a blush on her face.

"Right here, love!" Terri said. "They had a table over there with a bunch of them!" Terri unfolded the towel. "I'll hand it to you when you get out!"

"Thanks," Lynn said with a sigh of relief. She pushed the button to open the hatch of the MEKA, but was met with no response. Not even a beep. "Umm...." She pushed it again. "Hey Joy, it won't open."

Joy sighed. "I tried to warn you about the batteries. They must be completely gone now after you shut the door. You're stuck in there until it recharges."

Lynn's eyes widened. "Really? There's no way to open it manually?"

"That might break something," Joy said, taking a power cable out of the panel of the MEKA. "You're just going to have to wait. I'll see what I can do with your costume in the meantime."

It was bad enough Lynn was naked, but she was stuck that way in a powerless MEKA now! "Terri, come to the front and try to fit that towel through the arm hole.

"Right away, love!" Terri said brightly, though with a blush, approaching the front of the MEKA.
