Dan turned to May “what should we do?”

A psychiatric facility can hold you involuntarily but you wouldn’t have to face criminal charges. Being booked means you’re charged but can post bail, however you could face serious consequences. Normally we’d never give a choice in this situation but we’re willing to let you decide. Otherwise we will have to go with our judgement.”
