They Eat

Ben only had to wait five minutes when Charmcaster arrived at the restaurant. She was wearing a long purple bodycon dress and high-heels and had makeup on. Her lips were violet which complimented her eyeshadow and black mascara.

"You look amazing." Ben simply said feeling awestruck.

"Thank you!" She said.

The two sat at their table, Ben ordered a steak with a beer while Charmcaster ordered the salmon with white wine. At one point during the dinner, Charmcaster slipped one of her feet out from her shoe and placed it on Ben's crotch. She enjoyed watching him squirm for a bit when he heard his phone go off.

"It's Gwen." Ben told her.

Charmcaster sighed.

"Remember what I told you." She told him.

Ben nodded.

"Hi, Gwen it's me. What is it?" Ben asked.

Charmcaster could not hear from Gwen's end.

"I'm fine, back at my dorm. Is something the matter?" Ben questioned.

"Weird no, nothing odd is going on. Is Mr. Smoothie still alright?" Ben brought up.

Charmcaster was concerned about this.

"Thanks, bye!" Ben said.

"Well?" Charmcaster asked.

"Apparently, the people at the Mr. Smoothie are acting a little weird." Ben said.

"What do you mean by weird?" Charmcaster asked.

"Like they're waiting for someone." Ben said.

Charmcaster pinched her temple. Apparently, they were waiting for her.

"I'll need to go back to the room for a bit. Pay the check, and don't worry round 2 will begin soon." She told him perking Ben up.

Charmcaster left the restaurant and returned to the room. She used her spell to get the people back at Mr. Smoothie to return home. The spell also allowed her the ability to see through the eyes of those under its effects. Charmcaster could see Gwen, Kevin, and Rook at the scene talking amongst themselves.

"He was hiding something. I know it." Gwen said.

"Then why didn't you press him more?" Rook asked.

"I think Ben is under the influence of this thing, I can feel it." Gwen said.

"So now what?" Kevin asked.

"I need to understand the spell we're dealing with. As well as, trying to find Ben. His phone still says he's in Bellwood, but I really doubt that." Gwen said.

Charmcaster was worried, fortunately, she was prepared for this. However, it looked like round 3 would have to be put on ice. Fortunately, round 2, was ready. She used her magic to transform the room to change the mood. Before entering the bathroom to freshen up once more.
