They (well Greta at least) is shocked by what they see

The two naked women run through the woods, panting and gasping as the make their way through the thoroughly-thinned-out tree line.

The sweat on their bodies mixes with the dirt, dust, and debris of the woods, ensuring the once prim-and-proper ladies look like wild savages by the time they emerge. The twigs and leaves that got caught in their hair add to the effect, and frankly make them look quite alluring in a primitive kind of way.

When they finally get to the edge of town, exhausted and out of breath, Greta is shocked by what she sees.

The unrest at the castle has evidently spread through town like a wild fire. Roving gangs of peasants, some armed with sticks and other crude instruments, riot in the streets, looting and plundering all they can carry from who had been the more well-to-do just a short few hours ago.

Greta and Belinda squatted down behind the corner of one of the buildings, trying to remain unseen.

The maid's face turns red as a tomato as she watches a rowdy bunch of ragamuffins bullying the (now very) poor Duchess Gwendolyn.

"P-please! M-mercy!" The distraught damsel begs as one dirty peasant girl (a blonde) plucks the jewelry from her body as another (a redhead) helps the rather rotund noble out of her elegant dress.

"MMmmmm this is a fine one!" Says the red head as she picks up the expensive garment and tosses it to a male comrade. He already has a bundle of other fancy clothes resting on his shoulder. Evidently they've been busy...

"I-It's yours!" Gwendolyn squeals as she feels a greedy hand relieving her of her expensive shoes. "J-just let me go..."

The disheveled woman is standing in just a slip, her body trembling with fear.

The peasants look at each other and laugh.

Greta silently sits there, hiding, unable to look away.
