There he is! (its him)

I look across, he's sitting in a booth at the side of the bar. He gives me a little wave, a beer in front of him. He looks pretty much as he was described to me. Fit, but not too muscly. A little tan, he has a handsome face, with a short blonde beard. His eyes grab me immediately. Piercing and green. I smile and wave too, gesturing with my head to the bar.

A few minutes later, glass of red wine in hand, i walk over to him. No i couldn't help walking with my hips, and no I'm not ashamed.. its a date!

He half stands up from against the table in the booth to kiss my cheek "Hi Lucy! So great to meet you... I'm Mark" as I sit down.

"I've heard so much about you... its great to finally meet you in person!" he smiles wide at me, its disarming. He has a wonderful smile, it lights up his whole face and puts me at ease.

The standard first date smalltalk ensues, slightly flirty... nothing too serious. Getting to know you sort of chat. I'm into it. I'm into him.
