The-ALL-ANON
The world of Agaria now faces a Greater Human
There are those who look up and wish PT.3
THE ONES WHO CLAIM ANDOR THEIR HOME:
Sofiel
I swept my shining staff over the bleeding gash on the little boy's arm and his wound healed instantly. The sight of the little wide eyed kid cheering at the small miracle made me smile. There was no better sight in all the world, than a happy and cared for child.
I waited for his parents to thank me and take their excitable child home before I sighed in exhaustion. A whole morning of healing any who needed it and giving aid to the local priests that reside in this town was truly tiring. I would gladly do this all over again for eternity without changing a single thing, don't get me wrong, but even those that can imbue Lady Andea's light into their muscles, still can be tired.
"LADY SOFIEL!!!" I turned around and saw my charge running at me from the back of the chapel, smiling ear to ear. She stopped in front of me and looked up in wonder. "THE DRAGONFALL IS TODAY, CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!"
I chuckled and knelt down to eye level of the eight year old girl, bearing a gentle smile. "Well, well, someone is excited. who told you this?"
"IT WAS THAT NICE SEERESS LADY THAT PASSED THROUGH, SHE SAID THE DRAGONFALL WAS COMING TODAY AT NOON!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!" The little girl was buzzing with energy, a far cry to her usual sullen state.
"That was nice of her to share, what are you planning to wish for?" I asked with a raised eyebrow and a smile, even though I knew the answer.
"I WANT MY MOMMY AND DADDY BACK, AND A UNICORN, AND A HAIRBRUSH THAT MAKES MY HAIR PERFECT, AND A NEVER ENDING ICE CREAM CONE AND A-" The excitable little girl kept on listing everything under the sun. My smile turned a little sad at the first wish. To kill your parents because of gaining an unfortunate gift was tragic. Not that Lilly knew of course, that would just be cruel. All she remembered, was that her family was moving to her grandparents village because of some mean rumors about her. On their way, bandits interrupted them and then there was a flash of light.
I came upon the scene of the charred road and bodies, and at the epicenter of all the ash was her, sleeping. I decided that a little should not be executed for self defense, even if she harmed innocents, and I swore the paladin that was always with me, Maric, to silence. When Lilly woke up from her mana-exhaustion induced slumber, she was confused. She asked where she was, who I am, where her parents, and if the 'bad men' were gone. I explained that I was a priestess of the goddess that came upon her parents being attacked and tried to help. When the bandits saw me coming, they ran and took her parents with them, as hostages.
I felt bad for lying to her and filling out a false **** report, but it was for the better. I consoled myself by saying that taking care of her was my atonement for lying. I almost believe it too, if her trusting eyes didn't always pierce my heart with guilt.
"AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, I WANT YOU TO BE MY SECOND MOMMY!!!" I zoned back in, startled.
"I'm sorry, what was that?" She looked a little embarrassed, and turned her gaze away
"I know that you said that you don't feel comfortable being called mommy. Yet I feel as happy and safe with you as if mommy was here. And I know that if they were here, you would be best friends. And I'm sure that daddy would like a second mommy as kind and pretty like you!" I blushed at the idea of being in a three way marriage.
"It is a nice thought, but you know from your lessons that polygamy is wrong right?" I saw her energy dim, and a small pout form. "Though I'm sure that an exception can be made. After all, Andea merely wants to stop hedonism, not a union based on the love of their children." Her eyes swapped to mine in shock, than a smile larger than any I've seen before appeared on her face. I realized that this was the first time that I admitted that I thought of her as my own child. She rushed forward and gave me a hug as big as she can manage, and we embraced for a few minutes.
We only stopped because we noticed the light coming from outside was an orange-red. We both knew what that meant. The beginning of a new era. The reign of a new Greater Dragon.
The Dragonfall.
"OH GOSH!! IT'S HERE, IT'S HERE!!! C'MON, HURRY!!!" Like a switch flipped, she became a bundle of energy and started to pull me outside by my hand. With an 'oof' and a little stumble, I went with her to the exit of the building, Maric following behind. stepping outside, I saw that the townsfolk on the streets have stopped everything and turned their gazes up into the air. I did so as well and saw the orange-red star flying towards us. Lilly gasped at the sight, as though seeing the most beautiful sight in her life, which this might actually be. "I NEVER ASKED, WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO WISH FOR SOFIEL?!" She yelled at me with her eyes turned to the sky, even though I was not even a few feet away from her.
I wish I could say that there was no point. That Lady Andea has given me everything that I have ever needed and wanted. Yet I can't lie to my self, especially as the girl beside me was living proof that the goddess wasn't all giving, heretical as the thought was. "I would wish for- for an injustice to be undone." I said while keeping my stare on the Event above and wished 'Please, hear me, O' Sixth Greater Dragon, take the ruinous gift that would see Lilly burned, whether by mob or by herself, and I shall give all that I am to you. Please spare the life of this innocent child!' I didn't know what the correct way to communicate with Greater Dragons were, so I defaulted to what I do when praying to Lady Andea.
Almost as though on command, a Dark purple portal appeared before us, ten feet a way. "IS- is my parents coming now?" Lilly's voice became quiet, tears forming on her eyes as I glanced at her, not of sadness but of... hope? I saw a man run towards the portal, no doubt thinking that if he got there first, his wish would be made. The purple barrier that came up, shocked him, and then threw him to his back five feet away, stopping him. I spoke before any others tried to run in.
"The records on the past Dragonfalls were clear, only the one whose wish was being granted would get through, no one else! They would be brought before the Dragon to discuss their wish and the Dragons payment!" I saw other people who looked ready to try stop at her words, looking at her with disappointment. There was some people who cautiously approached the barrier, while I whispered a chant to heal the smoking man, my staff shining.
An old woman put her hand out and eventually touched the barrier, which didn't shock her. Others did so as well, and became sad when they were stopped. Lilly approached and when she was stopped like the others, she lowered her head. I felt horrible, seeing her like this and a part of me, wanted to be denied as well, not wanting to get a wish that Lilly was denied. I strode up to Lilly and placed my hand next to hers, yet mine only felt air, getting closer to the portal than the others. Lilly noticed it as well, and snapped her head up to me with wide eyes.
"Miss-Miss Sofiel, its your wish is being granted?" Before I could comfort her, she continued with a small smile. "That's wonderful, you de-deserve it." She turned around, a river of tears flowing from her eyes and ran back into the chapel. I glanced at Maric, who put a fist to the spot where his heart was, underneath his heavy armor, and went inside. I knew he understood without words, to take care of her while I was away.
"Blasphemous, a priestess of the Lady can not make pacts with a dragon!" An elder priest claimed within the crowd, and were given yells of agreement from others.
"Priestesses are not forbidden to wish, to dream! We are like you, we have desires and needs that we want desperately! Desires and needs that might never be fulfilled otherwise. The Lady is gracious, if she did not want me to go, I would know by now! A sign from the heavens would be made, and yet none have been sent! I believe she wants my wish to come true as much as I do, as she sees the good that will come of it. While I'm sorry that the wishes of many others will not come true, I must make my own wish, a life hangs within dangers reach if I do not." I turned towards the portal and strode forth, ignoring the shouts of an envious crowd and angry priests. A whooshing noise filled my ears.
I had a girl to save, and I shall not let her down.
Celestine Butor
Grunts rang out other the training grounds as I exchanged blows with one of the female guards. She was not as strong as the others, but she was nimble, and that was what I needed. I had won many duels, both mock duels and real, and can confidently say that an armored opponent was no match for me. Yet the Raiders of Kaldgrim almost never wore actual armor. They wore only furs or leather, and didn't bother with shields, using only bows or dual wielding axes and hammers. They forwent all defense and dealt only in offense, striking hard and true. As a noble from the distinguished line of Butor, I needed to be ready to repel the raiders off the coast, it is my duty.
A strike at the hand holding the wooden practice sword, caused its wielder to yelp in pain and let go. The guard froze as I held the wooden sword to her throat.
"Do you yield?"
"Yes ma'am!" The guard chirped back, a little smile on her face like always and her hands held up placatingly. I lowered the sword. "HA! I remember running circles around you, you've gotten really good these last few months!" She stooped down and picked up her sword.
"How can I not, with such a talented sparring partner."
"Aww, it's nice to feel appreciated." I rose my eyebrows.
"How many raises have we given, for your service?"
"Well, sometimes, words mean more than money! Though I'm not complaining, don't get me wrong." I smiled a little at her words, her good mood always infectious. "Oh, she CAN smile, Andea is giving miracles today!" My smile grew and I chuckled a little.
"I have smiled recently, I just don't think that everything is so wonderful, that I need to smile like a loon all the time, like you."
"But it is! You just have to see and appreciate what you have. Life is too short to be so dour, so might as well be happy!" Her smile dimmed a little and I saw sympathy flash in her eyes. "I know that they would want you to be happier, and are probably slinging lame jokes by the dozen upon you by the goddess's side."
"Yeah, I'm sure you're right." My smile tightened, and my voice came out more tense than I intended. An awkward silence filled the air between us, one that the noise of the other training guards couldn't break. She didn't know what else to say and neither did I. It was too soon to talk about my brothers, It would always be too soon.
It always happen this way. I would start to get back into the motion of things after a bout of depression, and when I seem 'healed', Rose would try and help me move on, or help me cope, or whatever she thought she was doing. Then I would feel depressed again and the whole cycle restarted, well not again. I am tired of being sad, and I am tired of letting sorrow take up valuable time. I must get stronger! I will not be a fragile and delicate princess, who need knights to fight and die for her causes! I must train more so that I can stop those Kaldgrim savage from taking more Anduvian lives!
"Celestine-"
"I would feel happier by beating you a few more times, raise your guard!" I saw relief flood her being and her smile was brighter than ever.
"Ha! Just because I let you win the last time, Princess, doesn't mean you'll win now! I'll stop holding back!" She raised her blade and got into a fighting stance.
"Let me win? HA, This victory is going to feel sweeter than the last!" With that, we engaged again. And yet, as our wooden swords clashed, the sky changed, and bathed the whole world in orange-red light. Every one stooped and looked skyward, including me. Just like we read and heard, a falling star was coming to us.
The Dragonfall was here.
"I didn't think it would happen." Rose whispered, and I don't know if she meant for me to hear, yet respond I did.
"I know that history wasn't your favorite, yet even you must know that Dragonfalls happen every thousand years, to the exact date."
"I mean, yeah, we grew up hearing that and learning of the ones that came before, yet I didn't think I would ever see it. It always sounded more like a fairy tail, than history."
"I know what you mean, I read the journals of my ancestors, who bore witness to the last two. I read them and never thought that I would experience the same thing." It was a point of pride for my family, to have history that stretched back two millennia, even if we were only traders when the Fourth came. We stood in silence, looking at the Dragonfall, making our wishes. 'I wish that mighty walls will rise around all the settlements in my kingdom, to protect them from any threat'.
"Did you wish for a man that can finally make you happy, and turn you into a woman?" Rose broke the silence, and I sent a exasperated glare at her teasing look.
"I do not need nor want a man to 'make me woman'."
"Oh, I'm sorry. I meant a woman that could." I gaped at her for the suggestion. "It's okay, the priests might say its bad, but I don't judge for liking how ladies look. Though if you fancy me, I will have to regretfully decline. Though for you, I can make an ex-"
"You know that was not what I meant, Perv! Like I told you before, I find the notion that a female is only a woman when she has laid with a man to be ridiculous. As though we were not adults until we gave and received pleasure from someone else made any sense." I ranted a little, the topic being completely insane. I was never actively against the saying until a pushy suitor told me something similar, while gazing at me like I was meat. His attempt to lay a hand on me, did not go well.
"So what is your wish?"
"I wish that walls would be raised around all the towns, cities, and even villages, to protect them from threats. Protection that I always wish my family could provide." Every report that came in and spoke of the amount of dead hit hard, an obvious sign that I failed the people who trusted me to protect them. "What about you, wishing for the man that can tame you?" I asked with the best deadpan expression I can make, on. Her very sexual nature she showed when not on duty, the most likely reason that she didn't have a partner. Many Anduvian men did not like overtly lustful women.
"Nah, I'm wishing to become a man, to be the son my father always wanted." She said such a serious sentence, with a smile and a laid back attitude. Before I could even process her words, much less think about how to navigate the issue, a dark purple portal appeared in front of us, about twenty feet away. We were both startled by the sudden appearance.
"I... guess the Dragon agrees with you." I said with no small amount of disappointment. At the same time a guard ran towards the portal, and when he was four feet away, got shocked and blasted a few feet away. Smoke came from the gaps in his armor.
"OH SHIT, Jeremy actually went for!" One of the guards yelled, as the one half of the guards groaned and the other half cheered. I raised an eyebrow to Rose.
"A seer came by yesterday, and told people that the Dragonfall was coming today at noon. One of the guards overheard, and asked that if two people made the same wish, would they both have to pay the Dragon. She said that most of those whose wishes were granted, had a portal appear in front of them that only let them through, so that they can bargain with the Dragon. If two people both made the same wish, it is the one that the Dragon let through the portal. Jeremy then was given a bet that if he ran as soon as the portal appeared, he would win a silver, for each guard that doubted." She noticed my confused look and elaborated. "Jeremy is deathly afraid of both magic and dragons, and yet silver miraculously blinds him to both fear and common sense, the idiot." She let a fond sigh of exasperation out when she finished.
"An idiot that just won fifty-six silver." The guard, Jeremy said with a pained but proud smile, trying to get up. When he stood, he let out a huge groan. "I'll probably regret this tomorrow." I chuckled, he looked so proud about the silver, even with smoke drifting from him. I turned back to Rose.
"Funny as the smoking man might be, you need to hurry on through. I can't imagine that the portal stays forever." I said walking the last few steps to her. I grabbed her shoulders, turned her, and pushed her towards the portal. She stumbled but regained her footing, and turned a shocked look towards me.
"Wait! How do we know It's me that it chose, you were just as close to the portal when it appeared as I was."
"I wasn't the one who vocalized my wish and have a portal instantaneously appear afterwards."
"Well, I don't think that a god-like dragon that can fulfill any wish would chose me and my gender change wish over you and your national protection wish. I think you should try." She grabbed my non sword hand and try to move me towards it. I yanked it away.
"It is pretty clear, that it chose you. Why are you even arguing? Do you not want your wish fulfilled?"
"I mean, yeah, eventually. But not right now!"
"There is no better time than a Dragonfall, to get your wish granted."
"Yeah, there is! For instance, a Dragonfall that happens after I break my three week streak of no masturbation!" I looked at her with a blush, and she continued a little bit quieter, thankfully. "Just because I want this, doesn't mean I want it this instant. I'm not ready to say goodbye to these girls." She dropped her wooden sword and raised her hands to her breastplate, tracing the curves of her feminine armor, even making circles where her nipples are. "They make so many men blush, and so many girls jealous! To give them away without a goodbye celebration would be horrible!" Her hands than slowly moved downwards. "It is especially bad to lose my-" I interrupted her as the guards around us chuckled at her antics. The attention of many shifting towards us, though I don't know when that started.
"Alright, I get it already, Pervert! However, the Sixth Greater Dragon itself, saw your value, and deemed your wish important enough to grant! You will never have as great a chance as this to become a man! Go, get your wish! You will regret it if you don't!" I pushed her again towards the portal. She almost fell but caught herself. She looked a little uncertain, but faked a smile and started slowly walking backwards.
"Fine, if you insist so much. Yet how am I a pervert, if you are the one who wants your best friend to be turned male, just so you can kiss on me. Also, since you push me to go before I celebrated my body, I want to borrow yours when I get back. I must have a final goodbye to the female body and its many wonderful features." She reached down and rubbed her armored mound.
"Just go already!" I felt steam come out my ears, and flames on my cheek.
"I didn't hear a-" She eventually backed into the barrier, which didn't shock her, yet also didn't let her through. She wore a confused look and felt behind her. When she processed that she felt the barrier, she smiled the widest smile. "THANK THE GODDESS, I LOVE YOU!!!" Her hands flew to her breasts, seeming to hold them like precious treasures. She looked up at me, smiling like a perverted lunatic. "Well, Princess, I guess it was for you this entire time. Hurry on through and make your nation safe, I have a little celebration to do!" My blush became worse somehow, and I dropped my practice sword and strode towards the portal. I heard a whooshing sound when I went through, but before I did, I heard the guards cheer for me, and a final conversation from Rose.
"I can help you celebrate!"
"Not on your life, Jeremy!"
I felt a smile come to me at their antics and at the future.
A safe future.
Tiana
I stood next to the fallen dragon, a western that was large and possessed red scales who thought that the villagers under her protection was a soft target. Obviously either the dumbest dragon around or one of those feral breeds. It showed in its nest and horde. It chose a ruined castle in the woods as its nest, which was overgrown by plants. While a good choice for many reasons, ripping off the thick wooden doors to the main hall and leaving his horde right at the entrance, was not what intelligent dragons did. The wooden doors had no decay on them, which meant that this castle was once a holy land owned by the church, given their penchant for casting a deluge of enchantments on their buildings. I ripped out my sword from its cooled body, and moved north towards its horde. Dragons claimed any dark magic items, as dogs claimed fleas, and it was my duty to find and destroy them before I let the villagers claim everything else.
As I moved across the courtyard, towards the hold, I saw the world take on a familiar orange-red tint, just like all those years ago. I quickly looked into the sky and saw the falling star.
The Dragonfall.
If I wasn't mistaken, I think it was larger than the Fifth was. I was sure that I couldn't be wrong, as I dreamed and remembered that day constantly, for the last millennia. And I had hoped to see this event again for the same amount of time. I made a wish towards the coming Greater Dragon, and readied myself for whatever it asked for. Memories, souls, whatever it wanted, I would give. Those pilgrims deserved to live again, and enjoy the life that my failure took from them. 'Bring back those that died on my watch, and you shall have whatever you want from me.'
A dark purple portal appeared before me, twenty feet away and towards the west. I smiled the first smile since that cursed night, and moved towards the portal. A presence formed in my mind, and I knew it was Andea, one of the many blessings that a sword saint was given. She showed and told me about the Sixth and urged me to raise an army from all of Anduvia to slay it. She showed that the Sixth was an eldritch tainted, enslaving pervert, that wanted to ravish my body, wed my soul, and seed my womb. I didn't care, I was ready for even worse sacrifices than that. When my dedication to continue was sensed by the goddess, she made an ultimatum. She would strip me of all my blessings and proclaim me an enemy to the other sword saints, on par with the Dragon.
After years of faithful service, with only the single thing I ask for being denied, She would throw me away! She would DARE stop the revival of the pilgrims I failed, that SHE FAILED! I didn't care about the blessings, the loss would not diminish my strength, merely my immortality and resistances. I was actually glad to lose the immortality, as having an eighteen year old body and its endless flood of hormones for centuries was not fun. I also didn't mind becoming ****, as I miss the challenges I had at the beginning, and if the loss killed me, it was no problem, as I have already lived for too long. I have outlasted three generations of sword saints and their self-destructive insistence to wage war against Cendor. Two of those generations I helped raise and train. Nothing like seeing people you saw grow from a six-year-old child to an eternal eighteen-year-old warrior dying to some lucky archmage, to feel old.
I strode onwards, and felt Andea make good on her threat. I went through the portal, forgetting the dragon that I just slayed, and the horde within the fallen structure. What I was going to, was far more valuable.
A Second Chance.
Celebron Archibald
I Strode down the hallways to the throne room with my younger brother Alaric. The sounds of the party reaching us, even through the thick golden doors that stood fifty feet away down the hall. When we reached the massive doors, I didn't waste time and barged through. By pure luck, no party goers stood near the swinging doors that would have flatten them with ease. Or maybe the reason was pure lust for my beloved sister. She sat on her throne, upon the raised dais that once held many more thrones. All but hers were removed, so that she seemed even more the imperial princess than she already was. Her throne was forged of pure gold and bore a single large diamond imbedded in the top. Her throne was like her siblings, with the exception of mine as the crown prince.
Yet more radiant than the gold or diamond, was the goddess that sat upon. Alexandra Archibald, my sister. The oldest of my younger sisters.
Smoky gray hair that she never restrains, and sea green eyes that bore infinite kindness and an unwavering empathy. Her form was well kept, soft but never fat. Slender in most ways except for the feminine. I always felt uncomfortable thinking this of my sister, yet only a blind, asexual person would not notice all that she possessed. A very generous bust that drew any eyes on them and a large but fit butt that swayed with the power of a hypnotist watch. Features that were made all the more provocative with the baby blue dress that Mother made her wear. It did more to push out and emphasize her breast than it did to conceal, and the slit on her right leg always bared her flawless legs She also at the same time, radiated an aura of innocence that made many want to protect her. Her beauty was all the more apparent when next to Lord Farshield, a horizontally large oaf that only won tourneys that had suspicions of foul play.
I strode through the crowd that parted before me and my brother, who bore faux looks of seriousness. It was decided that I will do the talking, as the natural easy going way of Alaric might glare through any acting they did. I arrived before my sister and made my spiel. "Sister, I apologize for interrupting your wonderous party, but a matter most significant has arisen." I saw the true smile she gained when she saw me, one that would never be directed at any of her suitors, and only the ones who knew her well could identify it. I saw her lose it too, when she took note of our stoicism. She rose from her throne quickly, not caring that the motion affected her chest.
"What has happened, has something awful befell Laura once again." I felt bad when I heard the true fear in her voice. She was unquestionably the closest to our youngest sister, and always took care of her when her odd sicknesses came. Laura was never far from her mind.
"No, nothing quite so dire, but I must ask that you accompany me, Alaric can host the party in your stead while your away." I saw the relief that subtly swam over her, both from the confirmation of Laura's healthy state, and the ability to escape this party.
"Very well, I shall go." She turned to the assembled guests. "I apologize for I must leave for a second but please, continue enjoying the party, I will be right back." She moved quickly, but gracefully, the dress always constricting her movements. It was actually capable of much more movement than other dresses, but would display too much to the lechers that made her uncomfortable. She came to me, and like usual, entwined her arm in mine. I saw that Alaric had started to mingle with the crowd, his natural charisma on full display.
I moved Alexandra and I towards our favorite spot, the Astronomy tower, where the sight of the city bathed in light, was awe inspiring. We exchanged small talk and spoke lightly of some things. I knew she was impatient to learn about why I rescued her from our parent enforced party, yet she delighted in the normality. The life and responsibility of an imperial princess always weighed heavily on her. She made a few attempts to find out, both subtly and directly, yet I waited until we made it to the top.
"You know I always enjoy this sight, and I appreciate getting away from the party, but why here?" She said with fond exasperation.
"The seers have confirmed that the Dragonfall is happening today, in a few minutes they believe." I said with a warm smile. I knew that she that was like me, we both wanted a different life, though I don't know exactly what she wanted.
"That is Amazing! You brought me here so we can make our wishes together! Thank you so much, Celie!" I couldn't help but chuckle as she threw herself into my arms. I brought my will of iron to bear as I stare into her wide joyful eyes. Her breasts were pressed against my chest from the hug, and though my armor stopped me from feeling the sinful pleasure, the overflow of cleavage that burst below her chin as she looked up at me, begged for my eyes to dip down.
"Indeed, it would be a shame to miss such an event, and Alaric said he didn't really have anything to wish for, so he made the plan to get you away from there so that you could." Alaric was always like that, paying attention to everyone around him and helping where possible. A good man to become king, unlike myself and my obsession of tournaments.
The sky grew dark and the sun was replaced by a small orange-red dot that grew larger, and I knew exactly what that was. Tiana once told me, and I assume all my siblings, what it was like during the Last Dragonfall during my self-defense training. The royal family of the greatest human empire in the world could easily afford the Greatest sword saint alive to teach their princes and princesses.
The Greater Dragon was here.
"Quick, Alex, make a Wish!" I yelled, looking upon the event, hoping my wish would be granted. 'Please, let Alaric become the firstborn son, and free me from the chains of the throne!'
A Dark Purple portal opened up in front of me, and I looked at my sister who had a look of wonder in her eyes and the greatest smile she has ever let show.
"Here we go!" I said and then turned towards and jumped through the portal, a whooshing sound filling my ears. This was it, the chance to be free.
The chance to give up the throne.
Thandamere
The screams of the rogue mage was like music upon my ears. The shattering of its fourth rib bone would no doubt hurt any mage shit that had nerves, being the torturous wound that it was. Blood soaked even more of the mages once blue robes, the cursed runes that were etched in it continued to glow. His dark eyes glared at me in hatred, and spoke through the blood that he was spitting up, while lying on the ground.
M-monster!! Y-you t-t-think y-yourself h-holy! Malgoroth t-take you, Y-you Killed t-t-them, J-just for th-their blessed g-g-gifts- I put a stop to its lies with a stomp to its voice box, and watched as it choked on its own vile blood. I waited for the last signs of life to leave the tainted mage flesh. The ridiculous notion that the reality pollution known as magic was a gift almost made me laugh. I turned around when I was satisfied that the corpse wouldn't get up and made my way out of the cave the rogue mage cabal called their home. I stomped down on stone and fallen mages alike, not given the filth the honor of an undisturbed ****. I would need to let the cleaning squads of the Order of the Sacred Flame know about this location. It would not be great for a necromancer to come around and raise some liches.
I exited and saw the world was bathed in orange-red light, and gazed at the sky towards the Dragonfall. I grimaced. Another of those jumped up lizards coming here and ruining a beautiful world. I normally would loathe such an event, however I was in need of a wish granted.
All these years later, and so many mages put to ****, yet my first was unforgettable. The monster that took my family from me, suffered for many hours before he died, yet he didn't suffer enough. I had refined my **** techniques to near perfection, how to inflict the most pain with the least injury, what tonics to use to soothe the throat to make the screams last longer, and how to **** those being tortured to stay alive through all the ****. And now I want to give the monster his just deserts. I knew some of the things that former Greater Dragons have asked for, and they are a worthy price for **** most sweet. 'Dragon, hear me well! Bring back the shit stain on reality that deserves eternal ****! Do so, and you shall have whatever I can give you!'
I felt the presence of the Dragon in my mind near instantly, and learned of what it wanted. I blinked, and a emotion besides disgust and anger was felt, confusion. I understood why it wanted to make me a female, to have me bear its brood. I understood why it desired my loyalty, so I wouldn't hunt it. I understood why it would dictate what I harmed, so I didn't hurt those mages loyal to it. I even understood why it wanted me married to it, as magic beings love to pervert the sacred.
What I didn't understand was why it wanted my friendship, my company. Why it was seemingly truly in love with me and wanted me for an eternity. Not that I care for the reasons, or that I needed to understand why it did what it did. My answer was the same, I accept.
I felt my chest plate tighten and the rest of my armor become loose. I felt my maleness disappear, and my height decrease a little. I spoke a standard prayer to Andea, and heard a gruff voice come out, gruff but feminine. I raised my axe a little and felt it be slightly heavier than normal, and saw a slender hand wrapped around the handle. I gained a... mental compass that pointed south, and knew that was where the Dragon was, waiting for me. Wanting me there as soon as I was done with my wish. It was when I became aware of this knowledge that the Dragon gave, that I heard a thud behind me. I turned around and saw the monster that I wished for. It had the same deceptively male human form that it had all those years ago, and the same look of pain and fear as it did right before its ****. The thud came because it fell in horror as the sight of me. Seeing my consideration on it, the naked beast jumped to its feet and fled deep into the caves to escape me, into the new grave for its fellow mages that I made. I felt the same smile appear on my face as it usually did when I thought of its screams from its first ****. I had no regret for making the Dragon Pact and shall do whatever it wanted, from birthing its draconic horde to being a loving wife, after all, it gave me the best gift that any one has ever given me.

The knights in shining armor came at me, in a bid to buy their lady enough time to escape the forest. I would find it amazing, at their bravery, if the snake they serve hasn't been running away every time I was near her. They were no match for my strength and my lavaforged Dragonite Axes, being felled within minutes, though the one with a crossbow got lucky. In those minutes, the noblewoman had mounted her horse and were galloping away. I quickly threw an axe at the legs of the horse and hoped it would hit this time, it did. The horse dropped and so did its rider. When the horse fell, the woman was lucky that her legs wasn't stuck under the horses body.
She got up shakily, her breasts heaving and sweat on her brow. I slowly approached her, and saw as she backed away. When I was near the downed neighing horse, I retrieved my axe, and kept making my way to her.
"Please, don't hurt me!! I can give you anything you want, wealth, information, anything!!" She eventually tripped backwards, not noticing the root that stuck from the ground. She fell and looked at my advancing form. "I-I would even offer you... me. I will not stop your advances and would even... bear the consequences, so please, don't." She cast her eyes down when she begged, knowing that I was too close and too fast to escape.
Her offer was not that bad. While there was some fat on her, most were concentrated on her chest, and her face was decent to behold, if nothing too shocking. The idea of forcing her to bear dragonspawn after dragonspawn was a truly great idea too. the perfect torment for a dragon hater. Yet I was not interested, as her **** would be more valuable than her life. It would strike fear into all humans, and make the other nobility fear me. I raised my axe but then stopped as the land was bathed in orange-red light, and the lady snapped her head up into the air. I also looked up, .
The Dragonfall.
I noticed that the snake underneath me had stopped admiring the celestial event and were crawling from me, yet I didn't care. I would chase her down again, when I had time. I was more focused on the descending Sixth Greater Dragon, and my legacy. The wound on my side, a crossbow bolt that had pierced a non-vital part of my body, reminded me of what awaited me. I knew that continuing a killing spree through Anduvia will kill me, and the wound proved that it could happen any day, and when I die, what would happen? A little celebration from the peasantry, maybe a party that some random noble would host, and then they would forget me. I could think of no worst defeat than to be forgotten about, for everything I have done, to be seen as a minor incident. I wanted those pompous humans who treat me and every other non-human as shit to fear me for an eternity. For children to dream nightmares of me and grown men shiver in fear at my presence. To be as ubiquitously feared as Blackthorn was.
'Great Dragon of the Sixth Dragonfall, make my visage eternally known, make my actions whispered forever, and I shall give you anything!'
A dark purple portal opened before me, and I chuckled as I entered the portal, a whooshing sound filling my ear. The Sixth has granted me the greatest victory.
To be remembered forever.

"Wait! Come back here! We can make a different deal, one just as great!" The leaving green dragon let a puff of air out whiling turning back to look me dead in the eyes.
"I don't want a different deal, I have only one desire, and that is the only thing I need from you." The stubborn lizard dipped his eyes down, emphasizing what he wants. His gravelly voice, doing something to me, yet not enough. He turned around and kept going, and I could do nothing except slump my shoulders. The fucking asshole wanted too much and would give too little. After all, bearing a dragon child was a huge time sink and it was not like he would stay around and help care for it or find it a home. All he would do is simply stop terrorizing the village that hired me and move to another. Which is good for me and my business, not so much if I had to deal with his kid while working.
I sighed and tried to remember all the dragons nearby that I could call on. If he won't play ball, then he will be eliminated. I remembered, Voranax, a powerful large teal dragon nearby that always loved making deals with me and wouldn't mind eating the asshole. His diet was mostly magic but he also could be sustained on blood. Of course, I would then be expected to kiss and work over his huge cock. He may not have adaptive genitalia as other horny dragons do, but he loves bathing a female in a bath of cum, even if they can't fit him inside. I sighed again, I couldn't afford the really strong soaps. Which meant I would then spend the next six or seven days of constant bathing in the morning and afternoon for the smell of dragon seed to not be noticed by humans. And a few weeks afterwards for other dragons to not think I was fully claimed already. Either way that I deal with this mess, I would have to pause in my business. However, a month and a half was a far shorter time than the eighteen years. I started to channel a communication spell, one of the only spells I could preform, to reach out to-
The forest clearing that I stopped the green dragon in became bathed in orange-red light. I hazard a guess as to why and when I looked up, my guess was correct.
A Dragonfall.
I felt a surge of hope at the event. A hope that I could be a real magic wielder and barter with stronger dragons. While I didn't mind the deals that I made with the lesser dragons, lesser except for Voranax which was considered one of the strongest in Andor, I always wished to be something more, more than the dragon-tamer that helped villages and the occasional town. To be an archmage that demanded respect and was given a healthy amount of fear. Who Cendorian courts wished that she could grace them with her presence. And who could continue enjoying the company of dragons for no other reason than for pleasure.
Others might find it weird for me to actually enjoy 'mating' with the beasts, yet I find it weird that they don't. I tried humans, elves, orcs, and pretty much every other species I came across, and none felt as fulfilling and pleasurable as a dragon dick. I didn't even mind being a dragon whore who guzzled down, or swam in, draconic spunk, I mind not being given a choice to become something greater. I looked at the falling star and smirked. 'Please wonderous Dragon, Greater than all others! Give to me the potential to become great! And with the greatness given, I will serve you in all ways! I shall submit before you and please you when demanded! I am willing to bear you an heir, if you will it, all I ask is for Greatness!"
My entire life, I have seduced countless dragons. I knew their desire to conquer and breed, and knew that my beauty could tempt any dragon, even the Greatest. While I didn't want to have babies, not even adorable dragon babies, If I could become what I wish for, then it is worth nine months of back pain and other pregnancy issues. I also idly wonder how much better a Greater Dragon was in bed compared to the norm.
A purple portal opened before me and I strode forth to the dragon, smirking. I never doubted that a Dragon could resist forcing a child in me. A whooshing noise filled my ears as I made the final steps to my dream.
To become a proper Archmage.

I flew around the elven camp and tried to spread joy with jokes and stories, as I have done so for the last four thousand years. And just like the last four thousand years, I was met with small smiles, **** smiles, grimaces, and the worst and most plentiful, the unchanging forlorn faces. The sadness that all elves felt was suffocating, like an aura that drowned happiness. It was entangles in their souls and woven into their bodies, and yet none even remembers why they were sad. All they remember was sadness and so they continue the cycle. They were an echo of the prideful and graceful elves of old who made such a funny fuss when I played pranks. Pranks that I no longer made because they just made people sadder.
I don't remember the day that changed everything myself, only that the elves lost their kindness and nobility. Of the few elves that actually respond to my questions, not even they remembered. What could have taken- The forest we were in became filled with an orange-red light, and I looked into the sky and saw an event that I've seen five times before.
A Dragonfall.
LOOK EVERYONE, A DRAGONFALL!!! MAKE A- I looked down towards the elves and felt my newly gained energy falter. Only a few elves looked up, the others didn't care, just acting as though nothing changed. Even the ones that looked up, didn't really react to what they saw, and went back to what they were doing. Just like the past three Dragonfalls.
I remembered when the first one came and all the elves were ecstatic at the new thing they saw, and everyone thought it was beautiful. I don't know what changed, what made the star dimmer in their eyes, what made the colors less vibrant, what made the elves into husk. I looked upon the coming Dragon and made a wish, the only wish that would come from this camp.
'Please, Give the elves their memories back, let them remember whatever it was that made them want to live.'
Upon wishing that, a dark purple portal appeared twenty feet ahead of me, startling the elves. While the guards were alarmed and raised their weapons, when they saw nothing happen, they merely lowered them and kept a weary eye on it. Not even a sliver of curiosity in their eyes at the event. I floated through, expecting an elf, any elf, to speak. They did not. As the whooshing sound filled my ears, I actually felt hope that I could help the elves, no matter the cost. I will finally give them what they clearly needed to be happy.
A Memory.
Ilithyia Cindaria
I stared forward as the maid braids my hair with care, the hands of the lady who has done this for the last two years were truly talented, she has never once disappointed me like all the others. I heard my tutor continue to drone on in front of me, no longer minding that I was getting a new hair style during her lessons like she did at the beginning. I think we were talking about history, something about Dragons.
"It was on this day two thousand years ago, that the Fourth Dragonfall happened, ending the Age of Undeath and bringing forth an era that we call today as the Age of Light. It was so named, as the Fourth Greater Dragon, who called itself-" She paused in her sentence, and the maid attending me paused as well. I didn't reprimand her as I was too happy with what was happening. The world outside the windows became shades of orange-red, which meant the one thing I paid attention to during my studies was coming. An event that would fulfill all my wishes.
A Dragonfall.
I got up from my stool and ran to the window, where my tutor and the maid also went to, and stared at my new pet. 'I want to stay eighteen forever, perfect hair, infinite riches, awesome magic powers, the best singing voice, the inability to never be bored again, you as my ****, as well as not having to pay for my wishes.' I finished smugly. I was not like all those other idiots who only wished for one thing. It is simple, if you don't use 'and' in your wish then the dragon will think it is all one wish. Also mommy is wrong about the Dragon not granting me my wishes, every one always listens to me and the Dragon is no different.
As though to prove me right, a draconic rumble filled my head and spoke to me. It told me really silly things it wanted in exchange for my wishes. It wanted to be a dragon husband and wanted me to give it dragon babies. It wanted me to love it like my parents wanted me to love my suitors. It was a sweet thought but a human can't marry a dragon, that is ridiculous! I agreed to the deal, anyways. After all, one of my wishes was to not pay for my wishes, so its not like I will actually make little dragons with it.
"LADY CINDARIA!!!" My tutor and my maid yelled at the same time, no longer focused on whatever little wish they thought of, as they saw orange-red sparks appear around me. I felt sorry that the Dragon didn't listen to them, but Dragons only cared about important people, like her. Whatever else they said was swept away with a whooshing sound, which was unpleasant. I got to get my dragon to change that. I smiled the brightest smile ever as orange-red flames surrounded me, and did not burn, and whisked me away.
My Dragon.
Blackthorn
The human who lasted the longest against my onslaught, cowered before me. He had no more spots to hide at, and no more friends to get in my way. I extended my fingers and they grew into long spears that pierced the final human. I sent a cloud of spores around the logging camp, to detect more humanoid life and felt none. Satisfied, I then began an ancient chant that Asihlliel taught my kind, and within twenty minutes of chanting, great tress came from the ground. Some tore through the buildings the humans made, wiping any trace of them out, while most rosed from the spots where the fallen trees once were. When I was done, all that was left of the human presence was the fallen bodies, which was soon corrected as I sent a swarm of spores to begin growing mushrooms into them.
I turned when all was done to move to the next target, a new village was made that housed many humans, dwarves, and a smattering of goblins. They supported this logging site and many others with housing for the workers as well as the center of their logistics, I believe.
While I was making my way, the world became familiarly weird, with many shades of orange-red, just as it did a thousand years ago, and a thousand years before that, and three more times earlier. It meant only one thing.
A Dragonfall.
I made the same wish now as I did every time a Dragonfall came and hoped that this time, the Dragon listens. 'Dragon, I beseech thee! Mend the continent, and connect the two halves once more! Repair this land that the Sundering tore apart! Do so and any desire you have of me, I shall fulfill!'
I felt the Dragon's mind connect almost instantly and made his deal. To shape my body into a feminine form and give it the ability to birth a new species, akin yet different to dryads. He sought my friendship, my companionship, my loyalty, and my love. I possessed little knowledge of the things he wants, either never knowing or having forgotten of such things. It, therefore, was easy to agree.
Through my bodily awareness and looking out from the foliage around me, I saw and felt my form become altered in strange ways. The spaces between my wooden body filled in, and I instinctively knew that a greater change was happening inside. I grew legs and feet that resembled other humanoids, with the exception of only having two toes in front, and a single toe that grew on the back of my heel. My arms became smoother and slender, and my hands became like the elves that I once knew, except with only three long fingers and a thumb, all were slightly pointed yet not as much as before. My head did not change for the most part, becoming a little bit slender and only gaining two humanoid features.
Amber colored eyes that were positioned like an elf's, that allowed me to see more sharply, the world around me then when I used... whatever I used before to see. I also grew a mouth that was full of sap and held an elongated elven tongue.
My body, when the change was done, still possessed the elongated frame that I had before, making me tower over others. Well, I thought the change was done, until I felt a weird... something happen to my torso. Before my eyes, the wood there swelled out quite a bit into two separate hills and then only stopped when a weird looking thin, inch long branch sprouted on each one that pointed forward. Attempting to grab the branches and pull them off, sent a shock through my being, different than the shocks of lightning magic. I felt at the same time as the wood underneath my torso, which was between my two new legs, became hollow. The space grew upwards and then stopped, and all of a sudden I remembered all the moments that I saw animals with their mates who had offspring and the elves who had children within my Groove. These feelings once sparked anger towards the humans, for taking all that away from me. The anger stayed but was lessened, A greater feeling came when I remembered those times, longing. Longing to have my own children and to play with them like the elves and to teach them important aspects of life like the animals, and now I knew how those elves and animals felt, when the humans came and slaughtered their children, and my anger grew to new heights.
The final change was subtle, and was only truly noticed when a felt a wave of warmth envelope my being. I raised my hand and brushed my torso, and jerked the hand back at the surprise feeling. I once more moved my hand to my torso and felt the wood there, which had softened and became far more sensitive than before. Not just my torso, everywhere on me that I felt had become sensitive, even my head. The weird branches on my new hills upon my torso was far more sensitive than anything else, only being rivaled by the hollowed out section of my form, when I brushed its edges.
Ant further touching of my new body was interrupted by the singing of nature, and my sight was pulled from my body and the foliage around it to the south, where Anduvia ended. I saw through the trees overlooking the divide, as miles of ground materialized from no where and bridge the gap. When Anduvia and Cendor was once more connected, than an explosion of nature filled the land between with plants I've never seen before. Trees whose trunks were silver and leaves were gold. White flowers that glittered purple sparks, and bushes of pink. More and more beautiful and alien plants grew and then they connected with the nature of the continents. For the first time in four thousand years, I could move my consciousness from the plants of the tip of Anduvia and their spruce trees, to the bottom of Cendor and their redwood trees. I finally remembered just how beautiful the world truly was.
My sight returned to my body, and I looked around in alarm. I felt something touching my face and saw nothing. I reached up and felt the persistent touching, and felt no foreign invisible hands. A warm liquid was the cause, and I swiped it off with my hand, It was sap, my sap. I felt around my face and realize that the sap was leaking from my eyes, like I was an elf who was crying. That can't be right, However, as I was the furthest thing from sadness as possible. I was so happy that I felt the emotion overwhelm me and my vision became blurry. After a few minutes of feeling this wonderful feeling and wiping away an absurd amount of sap from my eyes, I desired to speak to the Dragon, to ask him to fix my eyes, so they don't leak unnecessarily, or at all. When I thought that a Dark purple portal appeared before me. I could only assume that this would take me to the dragon so I went through, a whooshing noise overtaking my hearing. I can not wait to see the dragon, to thank it for reversing the damage of the Sundering.
For giving me back my home.

I lounged within the shaded halls of my manor, taking a reprieve from the duties of leading my clan. I thought of each vampire as my friends and family, yet they can do some really bone headed things sometimes that makes me want to just be by myself sometimes, drinking from my sacred cache of wine that predated the Sundering. I was forever thankful that I can drink and eat normal food for the pleasure, and not just the blood that sustains me.
As I lounged, I felt a disturbance within the world, one that I have become familiar with. I knew what the sky would show if I could survive the light of the sun. The orange-red rays of the descending dragonite egg.
A Dragonfall.
I made the same wish as I always do, 'Let me walk into the sunlight with no fear, and I shall give whatever is needed.' I sighed, and waited for the Dragonfall to end. I had been ignored the last three times, and I don't know why I still-
A dark purple portal appeared within my room, twenty feet away against the northern wall. I blinked, and heard the glass of my wine bottle shatter. I know how uncouth it was to drink straight from the bottle, yet it was all mine and I don't care what others thought when I was relaxing. Two alarmed vampires stormed into the room, about to say something, before looking at the portal in surprise. Almost as surprised as I am.
"W-we heard glass shatter and thought that someone somehow broke in and attacked you, and came to help." One of the vampires spoke to me, turning her gaze away from the portal towards me.
I recovered from my surprise, and slowly raised from my seat and regally glided to the portal. I spoke to them once, trying and failing to hide the joy in my voice.
"Please clean up the mess, I shall return soon, hopefully. And let Linnira know that my wish have been fulfilled." I did not wait to hear their agreement, and glided straight through the portal. Whatever this dragon ask for, shall be given. I will not wait another three thousand years for the next opportunity.
To walk in the light.

The female apprentice screamed and stormed out of my study, my insistence on her perfecting her Mystic Spears for a fourth time today, the straw that broke the camels back. I sighed. She showed such potential at the beginning, yet she just didn't have the diligence to build off that potential. It was a shame as she possessed almost all the qualities I looked for in an apprentice. Latent skill, sizable mana pool, an eagerness to learn, proper manners, a noble background, a bountiful chest, and a slim waist. If she had the patience to learn from her mistakes and the ability to not take herself to seriously, she would have been perfect.
I moved to my desk and look through all the files of those who apply for apprenticeship. I looked through them once more and saw some new ones, hopefully a new applicant fulfilled some of my requirements before I had to settle for the subpar. Male, male, flat chested, too large, male, male, and male. Where was all the hot female mages! I know quite a handful just graduated the magic schools all over Cendor! At least one of them could have applied to learn everything from one of the greatest, if not THE greatest, archmage alive. Honestly, what do I have to do, to get quality app-
The light outside my window changed, bathing my study in orange-red light. I knew what this meant from my studies, and rushed to my window and looked towards the sky.
A Dragonfall.
I have possessed many dreams and desires in my life, that I wished a Dragonfall would have fulfilled, and yet now that one appeared, only one came to mind.
'Give me an apprentice who fulfills my specifications, and shall carry on my legacy. And I shall give you anything that is within my power.'
I waited for but a second before a portal appeared at the center of my study. and I smiled. The dragon agreed that what I have learned, needs to be passed down to the next generation. I walked towards the portal and heard a whooshing noise fill my ears. I wondered who will be the one the Dragon chooses.
Who shall be my legacy?
Vesilia
The body of my target fell from the balcony and landed with a splat on the streets of the capital below, screams of innocents who witnessed what they thought was a suicide rang the air. The warning that my client wanted me to make was delivered. I felt the sickening rush as I gaze at my victim's dead body. It was a good thing to have for my business, but I still wish I felt even half of this rush when doing anything else.
I quickly escaped the premises, the dead man's guards not being fooled at the apparent suicide like every one else. I hid in the shadows, making my way swiftly and quietly back to my home, making sure that no one was following me. My magic imbued clothes had a myriad of concealment charms which worked best with the less light there was.
I arrived near my house and instead of going into any visible entrances, I snuck on down to the river nearby where a weird sigil was covered in mud near a large oak tree. I touched it and spoke three random words, fifteen seconds between each.
"Fifth. Silk. Rogue."
I was teleported into my house in sparkles of blue. If someone besides me, tried to use the sigil and repeated those words, then I knew that they were following me today, and could be connected to what I just did. Or they could say another set of random words and then I would know which day that they were following me on.
I went to the communication crystal that my employer gave me, and sent three pulses of magic. A single pulse came back, and then the crystal shattered. In its place was a bag of coins with the amount that was agreed upon. A standard practice to receive payment in my line of work. Well, in Cendor at least. I have no idea how non magical assassins were given their money without getting caught. I ran the standard suite of identification spells to insure that the money wasn't marked or a trap.
I moved to my room when all checked out and tapped a random spot on the wall in a certain pattern, and heard tap pattern three in response. I gave the correct tap code, and the wall opened to reveal a small safe, the size of its door almost the same as a small jewelry box. I opened the door and held the bag towards it and saw the safes entrance expand and a light gust of winding sucking the bag in. When it was done, I closed the safe and hid it once more. Another job accomplished.
I moved to my office which was decorated lightly and enveloped in shadows like the rest of my house, and began to look through all the potential contracts. not like I need even more money, I only wanted to feel alive again, to see a world vibrant once more. If only something did that, besides **** and other malicious acts. Before my desk, a dark purple portal suddenly appeared. I quickly crouched down and retrieved three enchanted throwing knives from their pouch, and waited to hear footsteps. None came.
I slowly raised my head, and when I saw that nothing had changed, I stood up cautiously. I cast a spell to disrupt the portal's magic, ready to abort the spell to defend myself, yet no attacks came and the portal stayed. My eyes widened in shock, there wasn't many times where my disruption magic didn't work. I knew I cast it right, as disruption magic was not only my magical speciality, but also my families. I read all the tomes and books and knew that nothing can just straight up ignore my spells, nothing except...
My eyes widened further and I moved to my studies veiled windows and opened the curtains and saw a world bathed in orange-red light, which emanated from the falling star.
A Dragonfall.
I looked back at the portal in shock. I had unknowingly sent a wish to the Greater Dragon and it actually answered. I didn't think that a Greater Dragon would even notice me with all the concealment spells I used constantly, much less deem me worthy enough to fulfill my wish. It undoubtedly knew how many of its kind I have slain for the slightest reason. It also knew I did so by poisoning their food and giving diseases to their 'entertainment'. No dragon I knew of, would let someone who embarrassed their race so badly survive, never mind actually helping me.
Paranoia swarmed my brain, and almost made me leave this room and pretend the portal never came, and wait for the Dragonfall to end. Yet I wouldn't miss the chance to feel as great reading as I did when I killed, and I strode into the portal, a whooshing sound filling my ears. Trap or no trap, **** payments or humiliation, it didn't matter.
I will feel alive without needing ****.

I finished writing the last of my notes on the properties of healing magic on undead flesh. The revenant specimen that was caught trying to **** the lord that was my patron, providing a treasure trove of information on necromancy. It was difficult to convince others to let me study it and not set the walking corpse on fire. I have a feeling that my time here has become limited, like usual.
Wanting to study an undead was not the only reason either, though they will tell everyone else that it was. I knew for the last few days that the wife of the lord was planning to execute me, or my banishment at the very least, for my 'magical seduction' of her husband. I, in fact, have never seduced anyone. I merely prefer to dress in a manner more free than most noble ladies, and act and talk to everyone in a friendly manner. It is not my fault that such provocative clothing and casual attitude seems to easily tempt men. I didn't even take advantage, as I still did my duties as court mage, the defeat of the undead assassin being one of many things I have done for them.
If she and the other noble ladies actually stopped being frigid bitches and spread their legs for their men, then their men would have no reason to lust over an innocent Gnomish Mage. Of course, instead of doing their wifely duties, they merely try to get rid of me and then suffer having another girl that accidentally comes and seduces their men, and then the cycle repeats.
I put my journal that contained my notes on forbidden magicks in a hidden compartment on my suitcase. A suitcase that I was proud of, due to all the space enhancement charms I woved myself. I then set about gathering the rest of my items and getting them ready to leave. I prefer not having to run away the very second that guards appear at my door again. I just got everything packed away, and was making my way to the door to exit the chambers the lord gave me, when the light from my windows became strange. An orange-red light that I read stories of, and thought the odds of seeing the event they belong to, to be dismal. I thought wrong, clearly.
A Dragonfall.
A absolutely marvelous time as the old age of before was left in the past and the wishes The Greater Dragon granted, help shape the future. It was rumored, and confirmed by the Fourth Greater Dragon, that each of the five, now six, were all reincarnated. The perspective of someone becoming a Greater Dragon must be spectacular. What I wouldn't give to be able to know what he thought at all times and what he saw when-
A dark purple portal, appeared suddenly before her, causing her to jump a little. Her curiosity, as usual, dismiss caution, in favor of getting close and inspecting the portal. The wards I always wove for my chambers, no matter where that might be, always had the most advance anti-foreign magic wards I knew, and I could give the ten Archmages a run for their money when it came to wards. Yet no wards could keep out the magics of an Archdeity like the Ur-wyrm. At least not without a comparably potent power source. The knowledge my scrying spells were giving me was amazing, as I never had a chance to study such unique phenomena. The purple portal possessed such potent primordial power and I couldn't help but wonder if I could get and keep a slice of the portals magic to-
"DARK MAGE, OPEN UP!!! YOUR CRIMES OF MAGICALLY MANIPULATING THE LORD HAVE BEEN BROUGHT TO LIGHT!! SURRENDER NOW AND YOUR **** SHALL BE QUICK AND PAINLESS!" I looked at the door the guards were pounding on with a little smirk, and then at the portal. Leaving with only a second to spare, indeed. I grabbed my suitcase and rushed through the portal. I was getting my wish granted, no need to risk it just for a slice of magic, no matter how potent.
Time to know what the Dragon knows.

I set the large coin purse on the side table in my room of the Old Oak Inn. It was a good haul from a relatively easy quest. Of course, an easy quest for an eleven-hundred-year-old elven ranger was not as easy for an average guild member. A medium purple Salamander would be **** to all mages, and its strength would match most warriors. Unfortunately, I am neither mage nor warrior and it had no defense against my arrows, especially the ones that hit its eyes and dick. I normally wouldn't aim there no matter what, but when a lizard the size of a large men said it would **** you and make a horde of whelps from you womb, in his own words, then you do what you have to do.
Laying on my bed, I didn't bother to get out of my armor, merely slipping off my boots, as it was only nearing noon. I went after the beast early when I assumed correctly that it would still be groggy from sleep. I would take a little nap and then go for that one slime quest that the guild had up for ages. Apparently the slime was perverted and came out of hiding only when females was nearby and no males. From the survivors statements about its behavior and how little damage it did to the girls, I suspect that it is simply an old mages 'marital aid' that got loose. As a female elf, any monster that could be attracted to humanoid females, always took any opportunity to claim me. Humanoid men too, but that was irrelevant.
Before my nap could start, the light from outside turned a familiar orange-red hue, and I knew what it meant from the last time I saw it.
A Dragonfall.
I got up from bed quickly and looked outside and saw the falling dragon. It's appearance brought back the guilt I felt for leaving my family and my home, even with both of them being so sad to be around. I still cared for them and I missed them terribly. The Dragon reminded me because I always thought that the only way for things to get better, for my family to live again, for the Sacred Groves to live again, was if a miracle happened. I have seen enough of the dark side of the world to know that miracles were never cheap. The ones the Greater Dragons perform especially. While the Dragon could warp reality however it wanted to fulfill a wish, it never asked for some small price. Yet I have always thought that no price was too great, for the future of the elves to happen. Whether my soul or my memories, or whatever else it wanted, I will accept.
