There's nothing inside the building

The vehicle rolls up to what seems like an abandoned and unkempt building. This building wasn't much different from the rest of in the area, but it's the reported meeting place of Nathalie and her followers. It was a strange juxtaposition to go from the Disney-like throne room of the queen to the worn down mess of the lower class.

You and a couple guards exit the car and approach the building. The front door didn't even fit in the frame. It felt like it swelled since it was installed and you braced your foot against the wall to give yourself extra leverage to open it.

The door swung open with a loud creak. Light spilled into the entryway and there appeared to be nothing inside. You and the guards walked in several feet and the result was overwhelming disappointment. The intel must have been wrong.

Suddenly, the front door slams shut and leaves you in darkness. You hear the sound of one of the guards bang against the door and hurl her shoulder into it to no avail. This is too much like a bad horror film.

While you can the guards were busy trying to open the door and not trip over one another in the pitch black, you pause as you hear the sound of approaching footsteps. The guards didn't seem to hear them until you shout at them to stop.

The three of you stand still in the darkness. You can't hear anything, but the sound of your own breath and heart pounding faster and faster.

The last thing you feel is a chill running up your spine and then something hitting you in the back of the head. You collapse on the ground along with the two guards. All three of you were knocked out and captured by Nathalie's followers.
