Once the clock hit 30 minutes, the Fates snapped us back to the Arena.

"Welcome to Stage 2 of the First Test!" Lachesis announced. "Now, I'm sure over lunch break, you've had some questions arise. Hazel, your timer will continue to run, so do try to rush your fights, would you? Now, you could try to swim and find the plug, but I'll tell you right now, you won't even be able to see it with how dark the oil is. Rest assured, you'll find the plug in your hands at the end of Stage 3. Now, one more thing for Stage 2, the Arena will be half the size!"

Lachesis snapped, and a large amount of the Arena fell into the oil.

Clotho bowed with a flourish. "Without further ado, the lineups!"

"Yeah," Hazel admitted. "I can't risk more punishments."

Hazel barely gave Clarisse another glance, then she jumped into the oil.

"And the winner of this round is CLARISSE!" Atropos announced. "Seems like Clarisse is only getting easy wins!"

Clarisse growled, but said nothing.

Lachesis took over. "What that means is that if any of you are confident that you will win, you can gamble on that. If you win your fight, you will earn a Random Transformation Upgrade. However, if you lose, you will get a Punishment Transformation. Now, the second option is to gamble 5 Charis. It would work the same as gambling the Transformations, however this time it would be Charis."

Atropos finished. "The last option is to play it safe, without any gambling."

"Now, without any further ado, Stage 3!" Clotho snapped.
