There's A Hitch To Getting Hitched...

Kevin shifted uncomfortably, knowing that Kalena could get violent at what he had to say next, but determined to remain honest.

"There's a problem with us getting married, er, becoming husband and wife, a couple of them actually." Kevin began hesitantly. "First, I hardly know you, and marrying someone you just met is considered very stupid in my culture."

"What is 'kulture'?" Kalena asked, confused.

"I'll answer any questions later, just let me finish explaining, okay?" Kevin said.

"I let you finish," Kalena responded, crossing her legs and putting her chin on her hands.

"Okay, second, you have to have certain things for the marriage ceremony, including rings, a wedding gown, a cake, and a priest," Kevin said. "We don't have any of those."

"Third, we don't have to get married in order to have kids, it's a cultural requirement but not a biological one." Kevin finished.

"You tell me what these words mean: 'kulture', 'rings', 'wedding', 'gown', 'cake', and 'biological'," Kalena demanded.
