The witch and her magical cat.

You spend the next few days helping both your families with the house repairs. You also spend a few days at the pack house helping with the cleaning. As most stores are closed, there isn't much to do.

On Thursday, you get a message from Kevin saying that the pack will have a meeting tomorrow. When Friday arrives, Jenny comes and takes you to the pack house.

You realise that the voice is coming from a black cat perched on a railing. You are so taken aback that you take a few steps away from the thing.

"That's better!" he says as the sun returns to him.

"Did the cat just talk?" You look towards Jenny for confirmation.

Jenny, not perturbed by the weirdness of the situation, crouches near the cat. "Hello! Aren't you a cutie"

"Stop disturbing my sleep!"

"Look, the cat can talk! How is he doing that?" she says, turning towards you.

"How should I know? Get away from that thing!"

"A thing? Did you just call the great Lord Acheron 'a thing'?" The cat says as he stands up. "I'll make sure you won't have another peaceful night! I'll drag you into a world of fear, and..."
