What does Sam want Jen to do?
The two break into a gym
“I can’t believe we’re doing this!” Jen repeated to herself as she paced nervously back and forth.
“Relax, it’s closed and no one’s around!” Sam assured her.
“I just wanted to see…” Jen pouted, regretting her situation. “This is too much!” She started walking away. “I didn’t sign up for this!”
“You were cool with meeting face to face!” Sam reminded her.
“Yeah, but I thought it would be at your place or mine! I didn’t think you’d have us breaking and entering!” she whisper-screamed. Sam ran up and held her hand to get her to stop walking.
Sam knew that if she revealed the whole idea from the start, Jen would never have come. It had taken this much effort just to get the petite dormouse out of her dorm. Now, she just needed to seal the deal.
“Jen-doll, you’ll get to see all that was promised and much much more!” Samantha offered, rubbing her friend’s shoulders in reassurance while guiding her back to the building. “I’ve checked around, no security cams, no people around, we just need to get in and we’re golden! No one will even know that we were here!”
The gym Sam had scouted was a few blocks away from her place. She had been inside it before as a paying customer and noticed how lax the security was. It wasn’t the best quality establishment, but it did have its own mixed martial arts space which included a fully set up ring. It was out of view of the street so had all the privacy they needed to perform a WSW match. The only problem was that it wasn’t currently open.
“It’s the middle of the night, no one’s coming to check! We’ll be in and out before the worker comes in to open up!” Sam said. It was the weekend and Sam was confident they wouldn’t be caught.
“I don’t like it…” Jen muttered, glancing around for any cops. “Have you done this before?!”
“Oh sure, dozens of times!” Sam replied casually. “Now, you wait around back and I’ll get in and open the door for you!”
Jen made a nervous squeal, then a sigh of resignation before following her instructions. She hefted up her backpack, which had all their wrestling supplies in it, and stood around the back of the building. Thankfully there were no lights in the back for people to spot her, but it also meant she was going in blind. She waited for a few minutes and started to get antsy. Just as she was about to bolt for home, the door swung open and she was dragged in by the arm.
“You’re an accomplice now!” Samantha warned her. “No backing out now!”
Jen made her nervous squeal again.
Sam laughed. “Relax! We’re in! That was the hard part! Welcome to the gym!”
She guided Jen through the dimly lit main floor before they climbed the stairs to the second floor where the wrestling ring was situated. She turned on the lights and revealed the main stage. It was a large ring, taking up most of the room, designed for professional matches.
“Oh…” Jen reacted in appreciation.
“Perfect, right?” Sam said. “Let’s get started!”
Since they had already committed the crime, Jennifer’s anxiety leveled off. If they were caught, there was nothing she could do, so she might as well get something out of it. She put her pack down and pulled out the timer, setting it on the ring apron along with towels and water bottles. She had come prepared.
Then, she took off her shoes and socks before pulling off her sweatshirt and track pants. Underneath, she had worn her string bikini wrestling gear. It felt naughty to strip down into next to nothing in the middle of a gym, but this was what WSW wrestlers wore. She hoped Sam didn’t notice her nipples poking through her top. Sam was on the other side, getting ready as well. She had worn her string bikini under her own track suit and was performing stretches outside the ring.
When ready, they climbed into the ring and looked around. Jen had to clamber in like a toddler trying to get onto an adult bed. It was much higher than the flat mats they had wrestled on before. The new perspective took some getting used to. It was as if they were performing in a pro wrestling match.
“Kind of cool, huh?” Sam said, padding around barefoot over the apron, then hopping on it to test the support. Jen hopped too, noticing how much stiffer the floor board was compared to the wrestling mats she had used before. Sam’s gaze went from the floor to outside of the ring. “Imagine if there was an audience watching us?”
“I-I couldn’t!” Jen answered, looking outside and trembling, covering her body.
“Well, I mean, yeah, not WSW, but like a pro match!” Sam corrected, getting a little embarrassed over the first thought as well. Her train of thought went back to pro wrestling. “Fans everywhere! Chanting your name!” She climbed up on the turnbuckle and raised her arms, soaking in the adulations of her imaginary crowd.
“I still don’t know if I could do that…”
“That’s OK, this is our own private match!” Sam said, hopping off the turnbuckle. “What goes on in here is just between you and me!” She shot out her fist for Jen to bump. Jen bumped and went to start the clock while Sam got on her hands and knees.
“What… are you doing?” Jen asked, her eyebrow raised.
“I’m getting ready!”
“Don’t matches start while standing?” Jen asked.
“I told you; Starting on your knees is the better position! You’re harder to knock down and you have a lower base to take down your opponent!”
“But every WSW match starts with the wrestlers on their feet,” Jen argued.
“Sure, but it ends up on the floor anyways, why not just start on your knees?”
“I don’t know…” Jen said.
“Fine, you start on your feet and I’ll start on my knees and we’ll see who wins!” Sam suggested. She grinned and gave Jen a lecherous look over, “Either way, winner takes all…”
Jen made a dry gulp. She didn’t want to lose, but wasn’t sure the knee strategy was a real thing.
