The tingling starts in her throat

Margot breathed in sharply as the sensation slowly moved up her body. Trembling slightly as she shut her eyes and held herself up against the wall. The sensation crept further up until it concentrated in her throat. She was unable to make a sound as the first change began. Her throat vibrated as her vocal chords shifted and changed slowly. “No….I don’t want to be….dumb” she managed to get out before her mind emptied. Her hands back on the wall as the sensation radiated out from her throat. It spread quickly as the changes continued.
