The teacher explains the basics to help everyone get started.

The NPC at the front closed his book with a loud "thump" and stood up, getting the player's attention.

The chalkboard went from a dusty green to a perfect while, with a cartoonish sign drawn in pastel colors saying "Welcome New Students!" in a fashion that reminded Isabela of Elmo's World.

"Welcome ladies and gentlemen," said the teacher, "To your very first day here at Daycare Academia! To all you new players, my name is Mr. Douglas, and I will be your homeroom teacher for the duration of your playtime here. As your homeroom teacher, I will be monitoring your progress and provide you all with all the fun and games to ensure that your stay here will be all you could ever ask for."

The glasses over his eyes were glared over with the light, almost as if they were covered platinum white paint.

"Daycare Academia isn't like regular schools, as you can see. We will be teaching you all the basic fundamentals of the ABCs and the 1-2-3s expected in a learning environment, but in a fun, interactive way. We don't do grades or time-frames, so you can do anything you want at your own pace."

A window suddenly appeared in front of Isabela, with identical windows appearing for all of the other players in the room.

"If you check your map," continued Mr. Douglas, "there are all sorts of fun things to do for you to visit. Lucky for all you, the staff had hid all sorts of fun things all over the school. Items we've hidden all over the campus that you can use to enhance your playtime. Any babies lucky enough to find everything on the list are given an extra-special prize!"

"Now to the babies in the class unfortunate enough to be potty-trained before you came here, we have two volunteers who have come to help demonstrate our policy in regards to personal care."

On cue, the door opened and two more students walked in.

It was a boy and a girl their age, dressed in [Men's Freshman Uniform (Blue)] and [Women's Freshman Uniform (Pink)]. The boy had a blue pacifier in his mouth and short dark hair, the girl had her red hair tied in pigtails and with pink pacifier.

Neither of them had gold rings indicating that they were players and it made sense. Isabela immediately recognized them as the two characters presented on the game's box.

"This is Hiro and Neko. They have been students in our academy for a while."

They didn't speak, though they both gave the players a friendly wave.

Without blinking, Hiro pulled down his pants and Neko unzipped her skirt, pooling both articles of clothing down to their shoes and revealing the [Freshman Diaper (Blue)] and [Freshman Diaper (Pink)] strapped to their waists.

"As babies, students must wear protective diapers at all times, all of which are provided by the school with no charge to you, though they are customizable at the school's store. Students will not be able to remove their diapers no matter what state they are in."

The tapes on [Freshman Diaper (Blue)] and [Freshman Diaper (Pink)] suddenly turned from iPod white to a lightbulb-shade of yellow. The sound of water crashing on a semi-firm surface emanated out. Hiro and Neko even gave out a sigh of relief before continuing to suck on their binkies.

"A diaper's wetness indicator corresponds with the color presents on their security straps. The wetter they are the stronger the color."

Neko's knees crossed and her cheeks turned pink in heavy concentration. Hiro was even less subtle, crouching , both hands on his knees, as his body started pushing. When both of them eased up, the tapes on their diapers have turned an ominous red.

"Messy diapers are no joke either, the securities defaulting to their highest setting."

The board behind him changed, showing a picture of a male and female figure you would typically see outside bathroom doors.

"Babies aren't allowed to change themselves, but that doesn't mean we'll just leave you trapped in your diapers. Just find a changing facility or NPC with this symbol and they will take care of you. Our school is here for you."

A window appeared in front of everyone.

[Many students have already undergone potty-training before attending Daycare Academia. In "Settings", students are allowed to adjust their potty-training level. Please keep in mind that students must keep their diapers on at all times regardless of whether or not they are potty-trained.]

Suddenly her menu window replaced the message, showing her settings. At the very bottom, there was a gradient labeled "Potty-Training." The dial was on the far right of the gradient, the text "Fully-Trained" to the right of the dial. Testing it, Isabela moved the dial left, the text changing to "Mostly-Trained", "In-Training", "Trying to Hold It", "Diaper Dependent" until the dial hit the end with the text "Completely Incontinent".

So I could make myself incontinent? Isabela thought in grim fascination. Talk about full-immersion.

She looked to her left, trying not to make her observation too obvious, as a blushing Clover, moved her settings to "Diaper Dependent." Equally blushing, Isabela decided to leave her settings on the same level.

Hiro and Neko redressed themselves, indifferent to their ruined diapers as they waved the players goodbye.
