"Okay, I'm going to head out and try to collect each of you. That way we can make our streak to Liara's together." Jane said as the others muttered various responses. "Hey! I don't like it either, but Liara would never lead any of us on a wild goose chase! Now, since Jack and Miranda live the closest to me, I'll come and collect them before we go over to Ashley's apartment. Then Tali's hotel, the spa where Samara is at, and so on."
"Hey, wait a minute! That means I'm getting picked up last?!" Kasumi shrieked. "I'm going to remain naked the longest?! How the hell is that fair?!"
"Wait, aren't you the one who lives closest to Liara anyway?" Traynor asked.
"About five miles, but what's your point?!"
"Focus!" Jane snapped, stopping the argument before it even started. Turning to Jack and Miranda's screen, she said, "I'll be there soon, so be ready."
"I don't like this, Shep." Jack groaned, a rare look of worry on her face. "I can lose my job over this."
"Jack, you have a confirmed kill count the length of The Normandy and a criminal record half that length. All of which is public knowledge, I may add." Miranda said, comforting her girlfriend. "I doubt that a public nudity charge is going to make Grissom fire you."
"Yeah, but..."
"Relax, everyone. Liara knows what she's doing." Jane said confidently as she hung up on the group. Once she was alone again, she frowned and blushed before adding, "I hope."
Liara groaned as she came to, her eyes going wide as she saw that she was tied to a chair inside a warehouse with a biotic dampening collar around her neck. Looking around, Liara was stunned to see Kasumi, Jack, Miranda, Samara, Ashley, Traynor, and Tali walking up to her. Managing to fight the gag out of her mouth, Liara cried out, "Girls! Thank the goddess! Look, I know who's behind this! It's -"
"Oh, they already now, Ms. Shadowbroker." Maya said as she walked up next to the group, each woman next to her smiling evilly. "Oh, don't be so surprised! How did you think I was able to pull this off? I had each of them sneak into the real McCoy's location and steal their clothes and covering."
"And the reason there's no Jane...?"
"One, I don't want two Shepards walking around... Again. It would give me away to easily." Maya replied, "And two, it's so much easier to trick Shepard's stupid AI into thinking that Shepard's girlfriend is entering her apartment than another Shepard."
"And where is the other me now?!"
"Oh, she's sending your friends on a... Errand run, shall we say?"
"Okay, Jane, you got this." Jane told herself as she stood at her front door, "All you have to do is streak to Jack and Miranda's before collecting your other friends. It's the most embarrassing moment of your life so far, but Liara has never done anything to embarrass you or betray your trust before."
Jane gulped as she opened the door, stepping outside before closing it behind her...
