The spell backfires...

The preparations were extremely cautious. The girls built circles of salt, painted spirals on their hands in curious shades, and all sorts of actions you did not understand the purpose of. "No. We broke the spell." said Judy decisively.

"Sort of." added Anja.

"We destroyed the impermanency." concluded Sally.

"I think we also extended the effects to the whole city..." you suggested.

"You're right." said Judy. "The cloud was local to your city and my office. I think you did something that amplified the side-effect..."

You blushed. She smiled at you.

"Don't worry. We should have planned for this possibility, so it's kind of on us... well, I think all of us are going to have incredible libido for today and tomorrow, and everyone will be attracted to you. In fact, in your city, everyone right now is female, and everyone right now needs incredible amounts of sex. Don't worry. I expect the Mayoress to enforce a quarantine within minutes... how lucky you are to live in a city with female leadership, aren't you?"

You realised she was right. The Mayoress would quickly react to what looked like a weird gene-weapon attack. The Guard would surround the city sufficiently far away to avoid consequences.
