He had the items in hand and now he had a multi step plan for him to in a sense live the high-life.

Step 1: Get a job working for Future Industries.

He entered the waiting room, correctly dressed, his CV filed correctly and he also had a single thought in his head, 'focus on the face and nothing else.' Asami Sato stood and greeted him, her perfect body her calm smile, her perfect posture, with the exception of a single glance down, for the entirety of the interview, he looked only at the her face and listened to what she was saying.

He could tell that she was very impressed by his demeanour and control of his manners, they shook hands and he left. One week later he got the job as Asami Sato's personal assistant and he was happy with the completion of Step 1.

Step 2: Get into Asami's good graces properly.

For the first two months of work, it was small and simple work, which he was completely fine with and within a few months both Asami and him happily talked to each other when Asami wasn't working and the most important part of the plan was to always step aside when any of Team Korra wanted to chat with her.

One day the sun was beginning to set and he could tell that Asami was getting very worried about something, "M-Miss Sato, is something wrong, or did I do something wrong?" "It's going to take a while for me to call you that Miss Sato." And thus he left.
