Marigold shut her eyes. The reasonable, logical part of her brain knew that that wouldn't do anything, but the reasonable, logical part of her brain hadn't had any sort of control over her since the Tech Gnomes had given her those X-ray specs that morning, so she was operating purely on 'they-can't-see-me-if-I-can't-see-them' logic. It was the only thing that Mari had left to preserve her decency.

Tessa didn't say anything. She preferred just to watch this go down. Now, she wasn't much into women, but Tessa couldn't deny that this was a little fun to watch. Rachel was quiet, too, but for a different reason. If anyone ever asked, she would never admit it, but Rachel found herself envying Marigold a little bit. Was this what Saki was really like? How had Rachel not known? "I've got an idea," Corinne said, fiendish creativity in her voice. She had brought her video camera along to take videos of other cosplayers to post online after the con, or maybe to stream a little with fans. But this was an opportunity way bigger than either of those. This was the ultimate jackpot, and Corinne wasn't about to let it go to waste.
