The search continues

Seeing one route blocked, Rebecca turned and walked to the opposite end of the car encountering another door, this one opened revealing a small airlock connecting the first car to the 2nd, stepping through it She found another car near identical to the first, after a quick check She proceeded to the 3rd to find once again nothing of interest. One thing however was changing, the temperature was slowly rising as the heat from the sun and the engine began to turn the train into a bit of a sauna. Rebecca's modest clothing was doing her no favors, sweat stung her eyes and began to soak through her clothing. She reached for a window only to find it stuck shut, going down the line She tugged and pried at every window, each one clean with a very modern look and yet none would offer even a crack of cool air to enter. Rebecca admitted defeat, removing her hat and loosening the straps on her vest she closed her eyes tightly to push as much sweat out of them as possible. At that moment She heard a clanging sound that made her jump. It sounded like it came from the next car down. Leaving her hat Rebecca went to investigate.
