The road to Pewter

After leaving the bug catcher (who gave you 5 coins), your Pokédex notified that Lacy learned Flash. You smirk at the screen and wonder what other abilities make sense for her to do. "Lacy, can you sing?"

"Oh no master, my singing voice is terrible. Were you hoping to use me to put others to sleep?"

"Kindof, yeah. I'm just trying to think of what other moves you could use in a fight."

"Well I can't roar or anything like Ace, but I suppose I could train to fight better. My tackle could be a body slam someday!"

"Wait, what about lick? I mean, it's not going to be the same as if a lickitongue does it, but anybody can lick. Try it."

Lacy paused to lick the back of her hand and then shrugged. "Nothing happened."

Out of the corner of your eye, you spot another lass through the trees. "What if you tried it on her?"

You make your way closer trying to sneak up on the trainer, but she turns at the last second. "Are you pokémon trainers too? I'm leveling up my pikachu!"

You quickly interrupt her grabbing for a pokéball. "My, um, friend Lacy here thinks your outfit is cute and wanted to get a picture with you."

"Oh, ok. I'm Veronica by the way." The other girl, Veronica, looks older than Lacy and is wearing a dark blouse and 6 inch skirt with stockings going to her knees. She smiles and goes to stand next to Lacy who is already posing with her tongue out. Perfect.

While pretending to find the right angle for a photo you command "Lacy, lick!" Before the other girl can react, Lacy turns her head and slobbers her tongue across Veronica's cheek.

"Ugh! What? Ow!" the other girl shouts. "What is on your tongue?" She starts to back away but her motions slow as her elbows and knees lock into place. It looks like lick worked. It dealt some damage and left her paralyzed in place.

What to do now? You only have so many human pokéballs to use.
