“Good work Kathie,” the sorority girl told her sister, a mischievous brunette glowing with pride. The lastest of many to congratulate her on the sorority house. The small crowd was all staring at a stuffed dog, a ghastly Chihuahua frozen forever mid-bark. “Ha! I’d like to see those Erasmus losers try to recover their mascot now.”

“I’m here to recover our mascot!” Amanda said, kicking open the door of the sorority house.

“Me too!” Evie added, pushing her out of the way. “It was my idea first!”

As if they kicked a hornet’s nest, the duo was soon surrounded by angry sorority sisters. The small army menacingly crackled their knuckles, stretched their pillows, and a pair even brandished ping-pong paddles with ill intent. “Oh, you two think you can go through all of us?”

“No, of course not. I’m-“

“We are going to play for it for the dog.” Amanda finished the sentence, pushing Evie out of the way.

“Or is the Epsilon Nu Phi sorority too much of a chicken to wager their stolen trophy on a Pokémon game?” Evie added, pressing her hand against Amanda’s mouth to shut her up.

“Chicken? No. But we have enough brainc-“

“Deal,” Kathie overruled her older sister, earning her an ice cold stare. The brunette stood on the tip of her tip toes and whispered at her sister before she got the wrong idea. “Trust me, I have this in the bag. Go to my room and bring me the cartridge with the sticker that reads hacked EVs.” The older sister nodded and went up the stairs. Kathie smiled warmly and motioned at the duo to take a seat.

“Sure, we are in. Make it two versus one if you want. But if we win, you two will have to do a forfeit for us, is that ok?”

“Yes.” Amanda nodded. “Prepare to face the wrath of East Erasmus College of Knowledge´s Pokémon champion!”

“And, err, the former champion too!” Evie taunted. “You are going down,”

Kathie slotted her custom cartridge into her console and turned on the game. “Oh, we’ll see about that.”
