The right tunnel

As you walk down the winding tunnels length, the same damp and slimy halls you were now getting used to, you make your way into the center of a small room, there's no other entrance ways other than the one you'd just come from, however in the center of the room is a pitch black squared obelisk, it was cracked or roughed up in places, showing its age over the passage of time, but generally held a sort of glossy texture. It was pointed up at the tip like a pyramid head, pointing to the ceiling of the cave at an angle, no doubt again due to the structures age.

Walking up closer to the bizarre rock, you can now make out a foreign language engraved into the stone. It looks like a weird mixture of Egyptian hieroglyphics and Chinese mandarin, for a time you circled the ancient text, prodding and poking it while attempting to make any amount of sense from the alien language. Deciding that you simply can't you begin to backtrack out through the rooms only exit.
