The ride home.

Charlie and Skye finish dressing soon after you, and it's not long before the are putting required bags on there back. Charlie turns behind her and says " You two go wait near the entrance I need to go turn in this paper work, so I can get a key. I will be out meet you shortly."

Skye nods and says " Fine, anything beats walking."

You shrug and say " I don't live far from here so walking is what I tend to do."

Charlie simply says before walking off " That is fine, but for us we either need this car to get to where we live or a bus. And we and the buses are overcrowded, so I would think for the three of us it's best avoided."

You just nod as you watch he walk off, you turn to Skye and ask " Why has she not gotten use of a vehicle before now?"

Skye looks at you a second and says " She did not feel it was important enough, but I guess she figured she would rather not having you pay a cabby do what she or we can do instead?"

You nod as the two of you head to the main entrance as Charlie goes to the main office which happens to be in the middle of the school to get a set of keys, to your surprise the wait is not very long because of the chatter Skye and you manage to kick up just to talk about this and that. It was mostly about classes, it seems she ranks a almost as good as Yuri in her classes. You also learn, that they have one other sibling a brother, who happens to be the only illegitimate child of there mother. He is older then you and has a family of his own now, and he had some how managed to stay out of the conflicted of the war unlike his older sister.

When Charlie comes in you smile and say " Now, I did not expect door service. There was no reason to drive it around."

Charlie smacks you playfully on the shoulder and says " It was easier then walking up here to get the two of you to walk to it."

You just nod as the three of you step out to get in the vehicle, because of the terrain in Mongolia the most economic vehicles tend to be Land Cruiser in format. Much like it is in African countries and the likes, your half surprised the letters UN is not painted on the side of this vehicle. You know many vehicles had been converted to run on diesel and electricity, or they had been diesel and converted to run with electricity as well. Diesel tended to be used to run a vehicle long distances well electricity was more short range between 50 and 100 Km, that would be about 31 miles to 62 miles, with the option to run both at the same time to help save diesel and recharge the batteries to extend the mileage on the whole. Of course when using diesel the vehicle still runs using electricity with it to extend the fuel and range of the vehicle. So a Vehicle like the one before you would have a range of around 700 miles or 1126km, give or take 50 miles or so, depending on speed of travel. Not that you or the girls need to ever travel that far, it still helpful on the cost of the fuel as a whole. It should be also noted that seat belts are not required because one may have to get out of the vehicle often to turn on and off ones 4 wheel drive locking and unlocking the wheels.

The three of you pile into the car, Charlie takes the driver seat her sister takes shotgun. You sit in the back by yourself, you realize it would be nice to have one of them next to you. But at the same time you notice it's the first time someone has not been touching you in some way for most of the day since you left math class. You hand Charlie the piece of paper with the address on it, and she plugs it and drives off. It's only about 12 blocks so there is not very far to travel so you decided now is a good time to explain your family structure and there names.

So you lean in between them and say " My mothers name is Anna, and my father is Max. This should be easy to remember, my eldest sister is named Tina. The family calls her Kris, it does not matter much but she prefers Tina outside of the house. My younger brother is named Zed and my younger sister is Zoe. And that pretty much explains my family, of at least who should be there. But there is not telling who might be there if my cousin's told there parents what happen at school today."

Charlie smiles in the rear view mirror and says " Don't worry about it, I am sure it's not going to be a problem."

Skye then adds " Don't sweat it, alright? I mean I know are mother would shit a brick over this, but it does not mean yours will."

You nod and say " My family has always been kinda open about things one way or another even if we don't talk about it, I mean if that makes any sense."

Charlie keeps her eyes on the road as she says " Don't sweat it, I am sure your mother and family will love us."

You look in the mirror at Charlies eyes and she is just focused on the road, you add " It's not that I am worried about, I am worried about what it will mean to myself or my family if I learn the things I ask a bit later."

Skye shrugs and says " Family are suppose to be supportive, but are mother cut Charlie off from the family more or less. The village does not like her anymore, and it could be said it was mostly are mothers fault. So right now the only one in mothers favor is are illegitimate brother, I was telling you about. It does not mean we hate him, we love him a lot because that is what family do. We don't hate are mother or are father's we simply don't feel the need to be around them."

Charlie turns to face her sister a second as she says " Speak for yourself, you did not basically get disowned. And I mean damn! I am not even the one that bombed the place I was blamed for having bombed."

You shrug and say " Don't worry about it you two, I think the issues are two completely different ones. Thou I am sure news of the governments actions as well as you two and god knows what else. Is sure enough to make me feel like a bomb went off."

Charlie laughs and says ' Great way to make light of the moment, I mean I guess the two are a bit like when you put it that way."

Skye just shrugs and says " I did not think it was funny it was in poor taste." Then she sticks out her tongue as if to say I am only kidding.

About this time Charlie pulls up to your the Apartment building your family lives in, you check your bag a second and say " I am going to leave this hear, I got another bag we can pack some stuff into." The three of you get out of the vehicle and lock the doors after Charlie parks it. And you lead the two ladies up to apartment you live in.
