The rest of the letter

Emma read the letter out loud. "The winner of the game gets to leave. Also these balls have special properties. Standard dodgeball rules apply. Divide up into teams. If you refuse to play, there will be serious consequences. Enjoy!"

There was the sound of a whistle. Four more glowing balls dropped from above and bounced on the floor. They rolled into a line in the middle of the gym.

"What would the consequences be?" asked Emma.

"I don't care," said a girl named Morgan. "I want out of here! Let's divide up!"

"I'm not doing what this stupid prank asshole wants us to do!" said another girl, Patricia.
