The quest

you reach the village tired from your trek and survey your surroundings. The village is as you’d heard small with maybe a dozen houses, a few fields with some assorted cattle, a town hall, church of some kind, and a small in next to the town market place, a small assortment of stalls selling some low level equipment.

You wander down the Main Street upon which everything is connected getting looks from several of the towns NPC’s you suppose most hadn’t ever left the village and never had seen anyone like yourself, you couldn’t really judge them as this was the first time you’d left the library.

You get out of your head and come up with a plan of action you need to find this quest and rest up. You think for a moment trying to recall where the quest would be but you can’t remember. You figure your best bet is in the inn and if it’s not there you can at least get some rest.

You walk into the inn and are greeted by several wooden tables to your left and a small bar to your right with a stairway in the back presumably to some rooms. Most people seem to be local farmers or some local guardsman NPC’s you relax and walk up to the woman behind the bar.

“Hello I’m looking for a room” you speak nervously unsure if you can even rent a room.

The woman smiles and answers “of course that’ll be one copper but since it’s your first time in town it’s on the house” you figure since new players likely don’t have much gear the developers made this area cheap which suits your purpose just fine. You smile and thank the woman however just before you leave you nervously speak up again.

“You wouldn’t happen to know about any quests would you” you smile nervously unsure if you’ll be able to even complete the quest as an NPC.

The woman gets a bit from and speaks up “Ah yes the farmers daughter was kidnapped by Bandits just this morning he is over in the corner there’s also another hero who has already accepted the quest he’s in the corner perhaps he can assist you.”

You feel the color drain from your face as you see the hero she is talking about he was in the corner behind a few tables which is why you didn’t see him initially. The player is low level probably comparable to you but you don’t want to risk the previous levels you’ve gained on a fair fight with a player if you take him down you’ll have to be sneaky. You additionally see the farmer right by you at the bar you walk over to speak to him keeping one eye on the player.

“Hello farmer I’m Umm here to accept the quest to save your daughter from the bandits” the man smiles “oh adventurer I’m so grateful for your willingness to help me here Take this map it should lead you right to the bandits” you grab the map and look over at the player currently laughing and groping several of the waitresses who look disgusted by their treatment.

You head up the stairs as the player begins to pull his cock out and check your bag seeing the charm person spells you could use those on the player as you aren’t really geared for combat yet and could use some help or perhaps you could be more direct and act like a player though it seemed like every player knew who you were with that stupid name eye candy angel. You could always just go it alone or just flat out try and kill the player for exp.
