The prototype.

You decide retrieving the prototype is probably the most straight forward. You read over the file and see the item is in this building in a vault on the 50th floor. You look at the hole cut in the window and your first thought is that it is too small, but this body does just fine. You deftly slide into the hole head first and with a simple twist you land crouched on your feet. Suddenly you pick up movement out of the corner of your eye and pull your sword in a blur of motion. You do a flip in air to cross the room and land next to a small sentry bot and cut it in half with a single stroke. "Sweet." You giggle to yourself and peer around the room still crouched. Seeing no movement you head out down the hall of the office building to the central lab room where the prototype is said to be held. You reach the door and see it is protected by a keypad lock. Activating your tactile boost you softly run your fingers over the keypad and you can feel the slight variation indicating which buttons had been pressed. You key in the numbers and switch off the boost. As soon as the door slides open however you see two guards dressed in heavy ballistic plate armor and carrying submachine guns. You kick in the reflex boost with a thought and suddenly the world moves in slow motion. You hear a blur of words from the guards as you race toward the first. Not sure if either of your weapons will work you reach out as the stream of bullets thunder out of his gun missing you easily hammering into the machinery across the room sending sparks flying. Grabbing his hand you spin and with a sweeping kick of your heel you send him to the floor hard. Sending his gun flying you do a flip and land with both feet on his chest. There is a loud crunch and he goes limp. Turning you see the other guard has leveled his gun at you but before he can pull the trigger you are no longer there. You run to the side and back and extend your arm catching him by the throat in the crook of your elbow. A simple twist later and you plant him in the ground on his head. Then you feel a sword blade slash at your back and twist while leaping to do a back flip completely above your assailant while drawing your sword. To your surprise they spin on their heel and meet you as you land with a second strike. This one you meet with your sword and a loud clang as two beings with muscles of twisted steel and flesh meet. You grin across at the man wearing the immaculately tailored business suit holding a long double bladed sword that hums softly in his hand. He stands just over 6' with short neat blond hair and strong Germanic features.

"What ever you are here for you will pay for with your life elf." He states flatly while the muscles in his arms strain to fight the pure steel powering your sword arm.

You see the bottom of your coat past the waist fall to the floor in slow motion and realize just how dangerous he is but you simply smile and answer, "Sorry, but I was paid to retrieve that prototype for my master and I plan to leave with it." Your eyes race around the room for your target and as you finish your sentence you see the item from the file. A nondescript looking tablet computer who's function you can't even guess. You sense his movement in just enough time to save yourself. He slides his blade down the length of yours in an attempt to cut your hand from your body. You counter and thrust with lightning speed and power far beyond your slender frame would suggest however your sword severs only air and part of the steel wall behind him as he twists to the side. You exchange several strikes and thrusts reeking havoc on your surrounds before it becomes painfully clear you may in fact be outmatched as he grazes your side drawing first blood. He is silent as he relentlessly attacks you sensing he has the advantage and in a flurry of action you are pressed back. Suddenly the wall where the smg bullets pounded earlier erupts with sparks and fire sending both of you leaping apart in mutual defense. Luck is apparently on your side and you pick the tablet off the table. However he stands in front of the only exit you know to be safe. Throwing caution to the wind you slam through the door behind you and you enter a large room that apparently is the remainder of this floor. Your eyes instantly scan the room and see 15 guards much like the two in the last room as well as feeling the German breathing down your neck. As you run the guards open fire much as you thought they would and you see the German dive to the floor so as not to be caught in the streams meant for you. You are across the room in an instant and with practiced ease you sheath your sword and draw your massive pistol. Three shots later the window explodes outward and you sail out the window 50 stories off the pavement. The wind catching the remains of your coat you flutter apparently to your ****. However you simply activate the tiny glider wing attached to the back of your tiny backpack you somehow instinctively knew was there and silently descend into what your internal computer tells you is the area of the city known as the combat zone. You take a moment to scan the tablet and just as you suspected you find a tiny transmitter attached to it. Knowing they know where you are you race away into the night much slower now as the readout in your vision tells you your reflex boost is currently in cool down status.

Two blocks later you see some possible means of escape.

To the left ahead you see what looks like a brothel.

To the right and down the street the lights of a 24hr. food shack has several motorcycles parked in front.

In the distance ahead you see several residential units.

Or several buildings around seem vacant but your ears tell you are far from unoccupied.
