The protagonist

The protagonist/viewpoint character of this story is Emery, a hacker who has just moved to the Hoenn region from Johto. He is the son of the gym leader Norman, and is mostly equivalent to the protagonist of the official pokemon games set in Hoenn other than his hacking skills. Whether he is a good person or an outright sadist is up to your choices.

His name is based on something to do with the gems the games are named after, but I can't remember what and I can't find it again.
