The price of not paying attention

John made his purchase and headed back to his car, strangely pleased at the supposed ally he had made.

As he was driving, he failed to notice the semi stopped in the lane in front of him until it was too late.

John was rushed, ****, to the nearest hospital, albeit without life threatening injuries.

Once he was in the emergency room, the staff, as they tend to do, immediately cut all of his clothes off. A thorough examination was performed to determine if there were any injuries. There were none, but the discovery of the hormone patch coupled with the clothing, makeup and obvious breast development, it was determined that he was transitioning from male to female.

A gender specialist was consulted, and, after looking over John’s blood work, she found that the patient’s hormone levels were extremely out of control. Since the patient was already on hormones, subcutaneous testosterone blockers and estrogen pellets were prescribed.

While John was still ****, small incisions were made in each of his butt cheeks and the pellets were inserted into the fatty tissue. Small steri strips were used to close the incisions.

Since the paramedics hadn’t grabbed the diaper bag, containing John’s ID, he was currently listed as “Jane Doe.” The gender specialist order a follow up appointment, once the patient’s name was determined.

Meanwhile, one of the nurses had found John’s phone and unlocked it using John’s fingerprint. Since there wasn’t an emergency contact listed, she simply sent a text to the last person who was texted.

“This is not an emergency, but please contact the ER at County Hospital. We have an **** woman here and we need information. Ask for nurse Zenda. Thank you.”

The nurse thought to herself, “hopefully this Rose person calls back.”
