What job should Trux take?
The prey hunting exercise
The need for money had sadly become too much for Trux to ignore. After a few days of sorrowing, she accepted on being a hunting target for the new generation of guards and soldiers. It was only for 24 hours after all, and after it she'll be paid more money than she can count.
Right now, the crow hunter stood on the branches of an old tree in the middle of the forest, dressed completely in black just like the colour of her feathers to blend in better, though her clothes were mighty thin as per requested by those who will soon pay her. Weapons were none, they didn't want her to accidentally injure one of the trainees too hard, though they said it was fine if she eats one or two, for as long as she can still move and play. The area of the hunt was pretty clear, the entire vast forest near the kingdom, if she dares to leave it before the day had passed, everyone in the kingdom would be allowed to hunt her forever. Though she wasn't scared of them at all, she needed to be paid. Flying wasn't allowed either.
By her understanding there would be only 12 different canines trying to hunt and devour her, they even got her scent beforehand so they could easily track her, while she held nothing. The forest wasn't off limits to everyone else, meaning there would be random strangers wandering around, either making the task easier or harder for the crow.
A loud horn coming from within the kingdom signalled her that the hunt had begun, and those 12 dogs would soon come after her. So Trux, being well known on the hunting game, though not on the receiving end, she knew that standing around in one spot was a terrible idea, so she looked around, over the trees to find somewhere to waste the hunting mutts time.
