The plans (Alternate version)

Ryan grabbed a folder and flipped through it. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. According to the blueprints, Alexa was creating some kind of new weapon that could end wars in months instead of years and would be sold to the most powerful organizations in the world.

Even more incredible were the names of people who signed off on it. Kings, Queens, Emperors, cartel leaders, religious leaders, even the President of the United States was listed as a donor.

It wasn't clear what this weapon did, but Ryan knew he had to get it to his office. He stuffed the folder into his jacket and walked outside, moving the bookcase back to create less suspicion.

As he sat back down, Alexa came back inside. "I'm sorry Ryan, but I'm afraid we'll have to cut this short. Something has come up and I need to stay on schedule."

"Okay," Ryan said, trying to keep his composure.

"Think about what I said," Alex said with a wink. "You'd be a great asset to the team."

Ryan smiled, shook her hand, and left the building as fast as he could without arousing suspicion.
